awesome rendition, it is sad that very few pieces from that era or before will get real recognition for what they were, but instead will always be purely attached to the game that had them. this is an example of a piece of music that could easily fit into a movie, a play, or even just on an album.

@001011101054684 well with older games, from the cartridge generation, the music is rarely taken seriously enough to make it into a soundtrack on a big production. nothing wrong with it, but it does hold some pretty good music back from wider exposure (although a mario game's music hardly needs more exposure heh)
