  • I love Chris Martin, he is so cute!!!!!!!!!!

  • pretty cool

  • oh por dios guy es hermosoooooooooooooo

  • underrately the best coldplay song ever.

  • can i have guy

  • "C'mmon love stay with me..."

  • Omg Guy at 3:49, I think I just got pregnant.

  • Guy is so hot. All the time. I love Coldplay.

  • I like it when the actual song sounds like the live version. That's why Coldplay is so good.

  • Chris Martin is genius.

  • Bitch

  • Coldplay gives my life meaning

  • Coldplay is my life

  • a great song

  • This is from Late night show

  • justo toi viendo tele y cambiando de canal y esta dando esta cancion en el concert channel !! buenisima me encanta!!! GUY (L)

  • Guy berryman is so cute i love

  • Ahhh Guy looks so nice in this videooo :')

  • A quite wonderful outro.

  • Awesome voice !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @aplilz You must not listen to a lot of U2.

  • this sounds like coldplay

  • @aplilz no

  • They were so much better back then.

  • Back then? White Shadows is from X & Y, and after that they released Viva La Vida and All His Friends, wich contains their most inspired and greatest song, Viva la Vida, aswell as other excellent songs like Life in Technicolor (see version 2, wich was released after VLV) and Yes, among others.

No, they were not much better back then, they continue to be just as fantastic! =]

  • @bennemann Honestly "X & Y" is my favorite album. Viva La Vida was great, but (don't hate me for this) "X & Y" to me was just a tad better because I LOVED all the songs on that album, on "Viva La Vida" I just liked Viva La Vida, Lost!, Cemetaries of London, Lovers in Japan/Reign of Love, and Violet Hill. 42 was okay. But we're all Coldplay fans, so I was hust entitled to my opinion. I believe Viva La Vida and X & Y are the two songs that have the most meaning out of both of those albums.

  • that's guy playing keyboards at the end. Sometimes he even plays the piano at the beginning of 'speed of sound' (like on vh1 storytellers) and he plays the big drum in 'lost!' He's that versatile, just like his other band mates.

  • @421ladybug why dont you just say his name guy berryman lol

  • @421ladybug : Couldn't agree more, they're all excellent multi-instrumentalists, as a true musician should be

  • great performance however the drums are obviously not being mixed properly or something, the snare sounds like shit

  • true

  • everyone knows that Guy is on bass. omg chris sings like an angel! i would kill to see them ;]

  • Berryman is on the bass, duh. And Jonny is sweet

  • amazing! i love how they all sing ('cept Jonny) but he's too busy rockin out lol ;]

  • I listened to this cd so much when I went to Europe in 2005 and this song always brings me back to France.

  • coldplay has had the original members since they started

  • That is Guy on the bass silly geese

  • It is Guy, and Phil is not the manager of the band.

  • Long live Coldplay !!!

  • hey - thats definatley not guy

and i dont know if it's phil harvey

(besides, phil's the manager of the band)

anyway look carefully to the RIGHT of CHRIS

(the singer) at 1:42 - you'll see the guy playin

    the backing sounds

  • yea .. well I actually prefer that they have the extra guy on stage, than just using a backing track. Its just my preference but I hate the idea of backing tracks, it makes the performance less live.

  • can't wait for their concert next month here in New Zealand

  • who was playing the piano? at min 4:42

    ¿quién estaba tocando el piano?

  • The band has a 'secret' fifth member named Phil that never appears on stage - he takes care of all the parts the guys can't manage when playing live to maintain a thick live sound : )

  • Although you are right about Phil never appearing on stage, he does not take care of those sounds. It is a backing track, as answered by the Oracle on Coldplay's website.

  • What I just told you in my last comment was true, but upon reviewing 4:42 it looks like that's Guy (the bass player). Phil will have been playing the electric organ on the string sound off stage : )

Sorry - hope that was helpful!

  • thank you, but I am surprised. How do you know that?

  • I just know from seeing them live that Guy plays the piano & since in this particular video I saw no one else on the keys I think it was guy standing behind Chris at one point where he was playing a keyboard. I know about phil from watching lots of inerviews with Coldplay on YouTube : )

  • haha i dont think so dude

  • Are you Phil??? lol

  • Guy plays both the piano and the keyboard. He, like the rest of the band, has a wide repitoire of musical instrumental skills.

  • excelente cancion son de mis favoritas de coldplay

    excelente¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡

  • oh guy.. fantastic(:

  • Excellent

  • I saw them on PBS "Austin City Limits". That was the second time i'd ever heard this song. I'm hoping at some point that perf. will end up on y.t. If anyone knows somwhere where it is please let me know. Thanx.

  • it's really hard to find white shadows live. Thanks!

  • Guy is so HOTTTT!

Bless him for saving this on X&Y

  • thanks!! awsome!!

  • OMG can i say OMG this is freaking absolute amazing music the end is unreal!!! coldplay is the best band ever like in the world !!!!

  • they need to get their new album out fuckin NOW

  • gota be honest and say that the snare doesnt sound real good and the verse sounded a bit empty at the start..is it slower than the cd recording? but that guitar at the end is amazing, reminds me of floyd...absoloutely cant wait for the new album

  • wow!!!

    so cool

  • the ending is the possibly the greatest piece of music in human existance.

  • well said... and u might actually be right!

  • Coldplay is sooo perfekt!!!I love Coldplay forever!!I think..no I know Coldplay is the best Band on the World!!thanks for this great Video greetings nena

  • the sounds of the video SUCKS

but the LIVE was great, i was there and was EXCELLENT PERFORMANCE for only 70 pounds

  • he doesn't really change octaves. He's just singing an octave higher.

  • thats what i meant, sry for the wrong wording.

  • this is an awsome performance but i dont like how he changes octaves so much in the chorus, i love creativity i really do but i wish he kept it more consistent during the chorus.

awsome performance regardless. gotta love em.

  • thats how the real song sounds

  • no, i know he does it, but if u listen carefully he does it more here than he does in the album.

its just a tiny thing, im not saying its a bad performance.

  • ah gosh damnit nevermind. i am retarded i was hearing one of the other bandmates singing lower but yea sry ur right. he does sing it higher. i guess its not as noticeable on the album.

  • One of the many amazing songs they made. Nothing compares to their songs.

  • this song is soooooo beautiful!!!!!

  • Perfect :D

  • Come on love, stay with meee.....

    amazing

  • ooooooooh!!! Just Amazing!!!

  • i really love this show on jools holland 2005.

  • INCREIBLE!!!

    COLDPLAY ROCKS!!

    :)

  • Great performance

  • I will be severely disappointed if this band breaks up!

  • Never ever.

  • I think they're gonna be just like Incubus...or U2..

you know, bands that formed around the 90's but they're still a pretty stong group.

  • why not?

  • U2 formed in 1976, professor.

  • a great song i luv it!!!

  • love this song
