  • Good to hear as all ways.

  • wonderful, i like it very much, the basics are nvc is love, many thanks for this

  • go VC!!!

  • Thank you. I'm enjoying your videos and am very interested in what you have to say and the way you say it. And I love that dog!

  • I am happy to know that you are getting something out of these videos. I have much to learn about NVC and I am looking forward to sharing it with you. I am sure you will see a lot more of Big Poppa.

  • Great post! I can't think of anyone I know better suited to talk about this than you. Words to live and love by, or at least try hard to. 5 *'s

  • If I could blush I would :D

  • Sounds like NVC was influenced by Buddhism. Was it?

  • The founder of NVC says that he has been accused of stealing from just about every belief system on the planet. I think the reason behind all of that is that this system is based on a series of self-evident principles. They apply everywhere in life. So we can relate them to many different things.

  • Thanks for the answer. Your story about the car salesman, buyer, and manager sounded very much like an explanaion of the emptiness of instrinsic reality from Buddhism, which is why I asked. I've put a few books on NVC in my Amazon wishlist. Cheers.

  • Try paperbackswap dot com I am going to check out this emptiness of intrinsic reality you mentioned. If for no other reason just to be able to use it in a sentence. :D

  • Right on! Peace & Love!

  • That was a clear, peaceful description, 2/6...thanks. This philosophy definitely comes across in your videos.

  • Thanks Tom :)

  • There are many videos of Marshall Rosenberg on YT. Just do a search for his name.

  • I love that about YouTube..thanks much.

  • I was curious after you mentioned him and just did the search :)

  • thanks for sharing this =))

i find, now that i know what NVC is, that you are good at it =))

much love to you and everyone around you =))

    per =))

  • Thanks Pensionisten the guy I enjoy watching do this is Marshall. I have taken a few classes with him and I tell you that guy is my living hero. One day I am going to make a video just to say tell him how different my life is after studying what he teaches. Khayav has Nelson Mandela I have Marshall Rosenberg how cool is that B-)

  • hehe yeah, is good having someone or "some idea" to live up to =))

i think ill try and find what i can on this Marshall Rosenberg, and see what i can get out of it =))

  • Check out the videos over there----->Check out his links to the nvc page and also check the nvc academy or "nvc training dot com". People say they want to change the world. I say change the way you hear the world, and that will change the way you see the world, and that will change the way you are in the world. This makes that kind of impact on the world.

  • i soo agree with you, i have, to me self, found more and more proof (nothing i can regive right here and now) that changing my point of view, lets me somehow change the world, so this will help me where i fail, to put it harsh =))

    thanks alot =))

  • About this, check my last video: "Present to subscribers", it´s related to what you are saying here :)

  • How would you describe the effectiveness of reading about NVC versus by writing essays about it versus practicing with real people?

  • Hey Phil.. Reading about it is a great start. I learned the "what to do" by reading. Practicing nvc with people dealing with real emotions & desires teaches me where my skill level is. I have yet to write a essay about anything LoL. I journal and journaling is the most powerful way of revealing myself to myself through nvc.

  • Practicing nvc with small groups of people has been the most effective way of learning how to do nvc. Eventually there will come a moment when people will have a sense of being totally connected, completely understood, absolutely seen through this process. It is in that moment when learn all I need to know to keep going no matter how difficult it might be.

  • Thanks for the introduction to NVC. Sounds so interesting and liberating, I'm looking forward to leaning more about it.

  • That description is a perfect match for how I feel when I am using NVC liberating, because I can hear what someone else is feeling without taking responsibility for causing those feelings even if they are projecting their anger at me. And the reverse is also true I have a clear understanding of how I create emotion within myself. Liberating! P.S I dont do this all the time :(

  • You know I have never heard of this..this was very interesting to hear. Thank You! ;)

  • I love corny...been known to be a little corny myself. Thanks for turning me on to NVC.

    Dave R.

  • Sure Dave the model itself is simple...doing it is not always easy... its sorta like the problem borgs have with identifying what useful form of uniqueness will be beneficial to assimilate into the collective mind :D

  • Very logical

  • Love this. Love you. Love Big Poppa!

  • Thanks goddess...I am going to just breath that in :-)

  • Interesting...5/5.

Could you just get that gain up a little on the Audio? lol...

  • Note to self: pump up the volume.. I would also like to add a little base...

  • I'm glad you touched on the basics - the whole thing sounds wonderfully basic, actually. This video actually helped find more energy to start my day.

  • Curt there are times when I get a new burst of energy from this process myself but I am not giving up my coffee...thanks again for the encouragement.

  • Giving up coffee - now THAT is some VIOLENT talk there, Mister!!

*curls up in fetal position, clutching 3rd cup, sipping nervously*

  • So Are you feeling jittery and wanting ease in giving up your coffee????

  • From anyone else, yes cornball city. But, you have a way of talking about things that makes me much more tolerant than I really am.

    Leave you? Nevah!

    ~~renae

  • Ha! I am glad to hear that Renae, I would hate to see you protest marching around your computer holding a home made sign and singing "no more corn...no more corn" :-)

  • Is this related to the People Friendly Language that is used in psychology? When you started discussing labels it sounded much like PFL.

  • I have never heard of the PFL... I would be interested in learning more about that...thanks misscris

  • People Friendly Language is more so how you identify people you are treating like instead of saying "oh, Down Syndrome causes" but rather "People with Down Syndrom have..." - it identifies them as people who have an illness rather than identifying them AS the illness.

  • I will check it out sounds like I might be able to learn something there...Thanks for that any time I can learn something useful I am all for that :)

  • same here hence why I'll be doing some research on NVC :) I like to look at things from all perspectives rather than act out of kneejerk reactions..... Love is something we do so... *swack* loves ya!

  • never listen 1 sec longer than you can enjoy -

I like that - anymore to that?

  • LoL many people like that one... if you where using more words than I was able to enjoy hearing would you want me to continue listening, or would you rather that I do something different? If listening is not a gift then what is the point....

  • what made you take this course?

  • I thought it would be a good way to meet women LoL

  • hahaha - you're sharp!
