I used to take the 92 I think into New Jersey, Is that right. Thats a great station, Lots of frieghts moving through there. I have to mention, The beer on the 92 was always warm, Better warm than none, Nice post

@howarth004 Yes it is. The Silver star starts in New york penn station and heads south to miami florida they change from electric to deisal at washington as soputh of there are non electrified lines

@125GNER Glad yo hear! I wont do tha many amtrak in columbia since only 2 trains there per day suth bound is a 1:14 am and North bound is a 4 ish am but im going to Maryland and NJ, AND NY to vsit famliy so more amtrak trains in the summer.
@125GNER To be Honest our trains arent as fast unleass your on the Northeast Corridor washingtpon to Philphdelphia, PA other than ther they arent that fast and not many services.
lovely - always something special about filming trains at night - and the silvery steel finish reflects the lights so well - if I was filming would have kept the camera running at the end to try and get that haunting sound of the American diesels going away sounding their horns in the distance

@growingup15 Almost every day yes it was running around 20 mins late that day train#92 is runnning 3 hrs late
estimated arrival in columbia i d say arournd 6:30-7:00 am or so.

Nice catch. Very few people catch Silver Service trains in the Carolinas due to the time they run through.
