Hey putz! Why don't we take the profit out of your field of work. How in the world will you make fries without the oil, serve burgers without the buns, huh? Truth is, you could care less about meeting a payroll or running a business. You're only interest is catch phrases you learned in public schools your whole pathetic life, such as "civil rights" or "social justice". Make you feel like a real man? Got news for you dumpster diver, you are and always will be a loser until you wise the fuck up!
I just added this to my facebook page. I also added it to my favorites on you-tube. Get the word out. Your life or the life of your love one may depend on it.
Thank you. Patriotism is caring about your fellow Americans! I have had so called 'great' benefits, most of my life, but not all the time. My children both college educated have had them sometimes and sometimes NOT. Get it? No one is really secure, benefits come and go, and are changed frequently.
Many people can't afford benefits even when offered nowadays. Most medical bankruptcies happen to folks with insurance! It hurts you when you are hurting, and are most in need of compassion.
The health insurance companies are parasites, plain and simple. They contribute nothing, they produce nothing. Our current healthcare system IS NOT WORKING. It is a disgrace. And what's really sad is that so many Americans, like thnksmarter below, are so easily manipulated by corporate propaganda and lies that they'll actively fight to maintain the status quo, & keep believing that the so-called "free-market" will magically solve all our problems
The agenda of the health care industry is to enhance their bottom line. They heal no one. They have wormed their way between ourselves and the health care providers. They have a powerful grip on our elected officials. Be gone, villains! It's time to rattle the cage. The non-violent sit-ins will get some press. albeit such as the mainstream media will allow. A flood of calls and emails to our elected representatives are the other tool. No single payer option? No vote!
Ok, let the government decide what type of health coverage you get and which doctors treat you. Stand in long lines and get on waiting lists for 6 months in order to get an MRI. Have fun with that.
OK, maybe you missed it: we are the ONLY industrialized democracy without universal health care. With 30% of the money spent on healthcare going to insurance company execs buying mansions (and other "administrative overhead" expenses), I'm willing to try ANYTHING different than what we got, and the more different, the better. Standing on line to get what we all have a RIGHT to is a whole lot better than nothing!

Let me break this down for you - America has always been one to give options, correct? Correct. With the options we have today, the working class has a number of options and the best one is usually which one will suck the least of them all. What's wrong with this nation today is that every crackpot has this entitlement attitude like they have a right to this and that 'because this is America'.

I understand a little of what you are saying, but lets face facts: Insurance Companies are not giving incentives to be covered.
Its way too expensive to afford, even for working class families.
Bottom line is, remove Ins companies and make medicine between doctor and patient. Doctors know better than Insurance companies.
