First, I want to admit that when i first seen the new generation TL's - I hated it! I thought to myself that Acura would never make my list again, but after seeing it in person and seeing more of them - the look really grew on me. Not to mention how immaculate the car is on the interior!! I test drove a '10 SH AWD with tech...and I was sold!! I test drove and considered a Pontiac G8 GT, Infiniti G37, Lexus GS and an A4, but none was a complete package and value of the Acura TL. Hands down!!

When this car came out me and my husband HATED THE EXTERIOR DESIGN WITH A PASSION. But after seeing a lot of them on the road here in Los Angeles we started liking it more and more. Point being, we bought a new TL in new black with tan interior. We still love our "old" 2005 TL which we still get a lot of compliments on because of the beautiful exterior design and 150K trouble free miles :-) People have to move with the times though. We love our new TL :-)

People make me laugh, This is a nice car if you would jus start paying more attention to the whole car and not jus the front or back. Seen one of these in a snow white with 22" forgiatos painted the same color with an offset 6" to 8" lip. people actually made a path for this car coming up 285 in atlanta. I think the new design will grow on people just like the TSX. I personally almost puked on myself the first time I saw this model, but it has since grown on me. Don't get me wrong, the 07-08 TL-S is still beautiful but if I park it next to the SH-AWD 09 model it looks outdated. Not to mention 08's and older were all FWD. 2010 6-speed manual 305hp under the hood SH-AWD. I'm all in. All you Bimmer fanboys can all drive your 3 and 5 series cars that all look almost identical.

I think Acura tried to answer the question that no one asked with this design. Really, if I had the money, I would buy it and get the grille IMMEDIATELY replaced with a style from 04-08 TL. Well, fortunately, every 2-3 years, they refresh the styling, so I hope they listen to the consumer comments and give it a better grille. Overall, the design isn't bad, it's exaggerated.

It's exactly what Acura needs, a car that isn't invisible- distinctive styling that is polarizing is better for the brand than bland styling that offends few. Put the right wheels on it and the right paint color and it looks nice.
