Why should the world be surprised , we should be expecting this type of aggression base on their history. Like all wars they ,usa , have fought they have lost mashAllah. They only know how to fight in the movies hahaha.'special forces' are a joke! they are nothing , but mere cowards!
Shame on the Bush administration for torturing and imprisoning Mr al Haj for years and years on end without trial or charges at its legal black hole at Guantanamo Bay. This is a disgrace and a slap on the face of humanity and justice. Sami al Haj is a hero !

Arabs squealing about American "justice"? Sami was released because because the American system protected him. He was guilty as hell..but LEGALLY nothing could be proved.
If he had been accused in an ARAB country he would have simply "disappeared" and every Arab would have known better than to say anything. Look...Arabs..GET THE FVCK OUT OF THE WEST. Got it? Back to your shitholes.
No dork, as a former Special Forces Operator I know that when you are associated with terrorist groups/organizations, have assisted in raising funds for or providing support for terror cells that you are a terrorist. I also know a member of the flight crew on the plane that flew him home and his observations on the behavior of Sami and the other detainees confirms their status in my mind. If I see him during my deployment he won't be a detainee but a statistic...bet on it!
it sounds to me like he was "doomed to be guilty" by your accusations, and then guilty no matter what he does.
hell, you know how many times i have thought about giving money to Hamas, or the Zapatistas, or Venezuelan or Cuban goverment? does that make me a terrorist. give me a fucking break! This man endured HELL , and it's my country that put him through it. This man is a hero! It's the "Special Forces Operators" of the world that are technically supporting terror (i.e. the US govt.)

You support'em with money sport then you are funding people who want to cut heads off of innocent people, that about right? That puts you right up there with the others who intend to force their fanatical, anti-freedom, hate filled, beliefs on the rest of us. These people think nothing of killing innocents to impose their Islamic beliefs on the rest of the world, wake up! If the US were Imperialist then we'd put the Roman Empire to shame but we believe in spreading freedom not fanaticism.
u r right in hating terrorists, i hate them 2, but this guy is not even close, he was captured cos some gready Pakistani rotten police wanted the prize money US govt was offering, many cases like Sami captured only because of gread and the US govt showing muscels. if he was related to any terrorist group would he be released now???
wake up from ur slumper, Bush & co will register in Guiness book for record of lies.
more then 100000 impresoned in Iraq without charges or trials right now.

This guys guilt by association was irrefutable. But because of Americas own legal system nothing could LEGALLY be proven.
In ANY ARAB COUNTRY there would have been no such niceties. He would have been driven into the desert shot in the head and left.
Funny how Arabs only weep about "JUSTICE" when it comes to he USA. They know better than to even open their mouths in their home Islamic countries.

Life is hard, it's even harder if you are a stupid Islamic terrorist or supporter.
