@efrain007 Yes of course I have the blueprints of each model. Having built several models in the last 20 years I have a good parternship with Liebherr, Komatsu and Caterpillar and they are so kind to give me all the blueprints I need. But I don't sell copies of them (by the way it would be illegal, plans and blueprints are under copyright) But I think everyone can try what I do: ask to the makers of the real machines (Caterpillar, Liebherr etc) iand maybe they will send you the blueprints.

@Z06jay I don't think this system can be used on a boat. It is a digitalised diesel sound made on purpose for this type of model. But there are good sound systems for boats made by Robbe I believe. Or the sound system I have used on my Wedico Berlin ferry- boat, check my other videos too see it.

@drizzit37 : about your questions yes it is all meta, mainly brass and steel with some parts of allumium. it is electro-hydraulic powered. None of my models are thermic (diesel or petrol) powered, too much pollution.

Please note that my D11 is not for sale, also it make no sense to tell you a price.

But I'm now cured and I'm no more building models. The D11R is still one of my favorites, but definitively too big and heavy. I'm getting old and moving this thing is becoming almost impossible.

you can buy hydraulics from Leimbach (Germany) but for smallers models: they don't sell hydraulics rams big enough for a D11 and their pumps are not enough powerful. For such big models hydraulics must custom made .

My dad is building a wedico truck, he gets the parts in the Netherlands at WorldWideWebDOThobmamodelbouwD­OTnl, in the shop they have a big CAT Bulldozer with a 12.000 euro price tag, the hydrolics have a 10bar pressure, very very impressive machine but very very expensive, it is realy 12.000 euro.

@5980max Yes I'm insane. But I can't tell you how much HP have my D11: it is an electro-hydraulic powered model. weight is around 70 Kg with 17000 MAh lead batteries.

you are right, you can't order it by CAT. But the other dozer you've seen (Dozernerd) is completely different from this one. He has built he's own model and it is in a different scale, if I remember well it is not hydraulic and with a thermic (lawnmower) motor . Speaking about price has no sense, because these models are not for sale.

I started finally building a D11, but with actuators for know as hydraulic are way over my price, 30 inchs long from blade to ripper, how long is yours 20 inch

I don't remember how long it is from blade to ripper but the D11 is in exact 1:13 scale (Tamiya) . I can't take a measure for know because the D11 ist not in my workshop this week.

(I lent it for an exhibition).

Thank you, I'm glad that a CAT expert like appreciate this model. The D11 is electro-hydraulic powered. a digital recorded turbo-charged engine sound with throttle sensor allow the sound to vary according to motors RpM .

The D11 weighs 54 Kg (118 Lbs). Hydraulic pressure can be regulated up to 50 Bar (725 PSI). All blade and ripper movements (up and down, assymetric, angle) are reproduced. maximum pushing of 160 Kg (352 Lbs) in first gear.

if you want to have your own sound (for instance a 5 cylinder Fairbank engine) you should buy a Benedini sound module or the one from Conrad Electronic wich allow you to upload any sound you want from your PC. Check my video with the "Berlin" Ferry boat, it has one of these sound module,

Ciao Fabio. non si poteva fare molto perchè il mucchio di terra a disposizione era troppo piccolo per un mostro del genere :-) il D11 è veramente potentissimo, praticamente inarrestabile. Uno dei modelli piu' divertenti da pilotare che abbia mai provato.
