Series 2 was heartbreakingly beautiful. Mostly because Maxxie accepted New Tony - the Tony that needed someone to be there with him while he tried to rebuild himself. The friendship they developed was just incredible. The series finale, with Tony being left behind as Maxxie left for London, was so hard to watch.

There are new episodes of Skins but with different characters. Seasons one and two focused on one group of teens, seasons three and four (which starts in January) focuses on Tony's little sister and her friends.

Tony and Maxxie's relationship never progressed passed friendship. Really this is the last good scene we really get with them. The rest of season two is Tony trying to win back Michelle (his ex-girlfriend). At the end of season two all the kids go there separate ways for University.
