  • Awesome!!! :D

  • Oh and we also do multiples with weapons and they are told to punch / kick etc hard and fast to improve your blocking reflexes. They even do this for white belts as even the white belts at my club are REALLY advanced for their level

  • @TheSilatiger at my jujitsu club we do multiple attackers training too and the best part about it is that you don't know what they're gonna throw. So jujitsu is a good martial art for the street :)

  • to every martial art sucks when theres multiples-in silat at advanced stage your doin mainly multiple attackers trainin, and its very effective, includin multiples with bladed weapons

  • "BJJ sucks when attacked by more than one guy" : EVERY martial art sucks when attacked by more then one guy, especially when the guys can FIGHT. " Trouwens ziekelijke nickname heb je daar. Maar goed je hebt pillen tegen alles tegenwoordig.

  • One on one, if you know what you're doing on the ground taking a guy to the floor in a street fight works great. 99.9% of the time your average drunken shclub has no ground fighting experience. I've swept guys that were wrestlers once they got on top of me. The look on someones face when you twist their limbs in places they aren't supposed to go is priceless.

  • -Lägga mig ner?

-Det går bra, det går bra!

  • its armbar

  • FUCKIN WREED!!

  • flying armbar/ flying omoplata

  • move wins at those tap tourney...useless in real life...and i will waste my time , sorry but 90 of bjj is useless in real life so dont market it as self defense...that being said, good technique on the video

  • I love this trick.....

  • Hey, could you upload a video of it in slow motion?

  • GREAT TRAINING GUYS!! 5 STARS!!

  • Oh, sure, I'll keep my hand outstrethced for you.

  • You don't have to. A grappler has many ways to get an armbar on you.

  • Saw Megumi Fujii do it at a demo.

  • Isit fuck :L It's an alright sport no so much a martial art.

  • hahaha:) lol the best...? For you BJJ is the best, becouse: for example U can't learn Aikido moves, or kata from Karate... lol. Your comment is stupid like your thinking... ;]

  • I like how the guy at the end was like "yup. that was definitely the flying armlock"

  • this wouldn't do jack shit in a "real" fight...come on now.

  • He says that in the description. A lot. He also says not to say stuff like that because he knows that. lol

  • I guess you haven't seen enough MMA fights

then. It doesn't happen very often, but i've seen

it happen and the guy win by it three times already.

But it is indeed a risky move, thats for sure.

  • oh sure, a broken arm wont effect one's performance at all...

    -_-

  • there's more than just one way to do an armbar just in case you didn't know? this would never be effective in a real fight. why not just do the armbar the right way? you don't see BJ Penn or Forrest Griffin doing this in a bout now do you? I dare to try this in a match or fight against some who knows anything about what they're doing.

  • *dare you

  • im just talking about the armbar itself, however a person gets it, if they do get it, there goes an arm is all im sayin

i guess the whole "flying" part of it is impractical

  • well tht depends he did say in the discription it wudnt fare well against more than one person haha but 1v1 very plausble read the discription befor you post please?

  • i'm saying in a "street" fight, and yes i read the description before posting those comments. even if it was one on one he says so himself, " I wouldn't use it in streetfight for 2 reasons: you get on the ground (BJJ sucks when attacked by more than one guy), it hurts to get to the ground this way (no mats on the street) ".

so yeah...im done posting comments about this. im feeling rather foolish.

  • Most martial arts suck when fighting more than one guy. Especially the ones that don't even work against one BJJ guy, which is most of them.

  • Check out this video "Rumina's Flying Armbar".

MMA and UFC have real fights, no demonstrations.

    Hope you enjoy.

  • If you you want to learn how to do a perfect flying amlock, visit my video:

How to do the perfect Flying Armlock Flying Armbar

    Youtube

  • You know usually after people punch they take their arm back...

  • I know, but at the time I thought this looks cool.

  • It does look damn cool, but you might need the reflexes of a god to pull this off in a fight when a guy is boxing you lol

  • I would only try this from grappling positions in a competition, and I would never use it in a streetfight.

  • What would you recommend more for street fight? Keep it standing or go for take downs? Provided it's one on one

  • Depends on if it is a trained fighter or an untrained guy. And I do not like rolling around in glass so in bars I would not go to the ground. But on gras or another soft underground I think I would go for the ground, because I am at my best there.

  • Ya, I guess concrete isn't really the best for ground fighting. Thanks

  • @Hondenmoller homo

  • @Hondenmoller do you pwn at foreplay with chicks when on the ground?

  • @Hondenmoller Yep, on the ground you could easily take the upper hand in front of a novice in ground fighting... 70% of MMA fights end on the ground, if you want to keep the fight up, you've got to throw your opponents to the ground and make them understand that they should stop, anyway it ain't easy. The best way to fight is not to fight, as Lee said..

  • @Hondenmoller i thing that a good fighter would chose his battles ... in a street fight u never know if he has a knife or a friend in the shadows ... i do my best to keep out of fights ... the best thing is to go with a lot of friends ( that will have your back ) u will have a good time and the lesser chances are to get in a fight get arested or hurt :)

  • @divertiti i prefer stand up ..dominate with my kicks and use my judo 4 throws .:D..depends were your more comftable

  • @divertiti

it always depends on the number of attackers, but if it is a single attacker as you say, I would keep the distance, use any error he could make, get the clinch, take him down and then decide, depending on how the attacker is agressive, if it is necessary to break a bone or if a couple of punches are enough....the ground gives more chances, as long as your technical skills are the ones which matters on the floor, instead of strength

  • Street fights?

stay away... real fightes belong to the mats and rings, if you really can't avoid the situation stick to fast reaction martial art's, JKD is very effective on those situation, actually there are teacher that focus on self defense, you can also train Krav Maga or Muay Thai, BJJ is a perfect art only with you want to figtht! if you wanna end and leave you gotta giv'em some kick and punches before leaving.

  • @divertiti kick him in the balls, knee him in the face and pray that his friends don't have guns or knifes

  • @divertiti My best advice would first be to avoid it. If you can't avoid the fight, be reactive. Be dynamic. Don't go into it saying "i'm going to hip toss him with O Goshi" or whatever. Ideally, you should end it before it really begins. He can't fight if he can't walk. Take out his knee with a quick front kick. Even kick him in the balls. Just disable him at least temporarily and get out of there!

  • @divertiti id recommend going to the ground in a street fight because most people cant fight on the ground and also they will think its "gay" to fight on the ground so they will try hard to keep it standing but that will leave them open for a quick submission

  • @divertiti in a street fight you always take the groin hit, everybody underestimates the kick to the groin

  • @divertiti Have you actually tried the arm bar? You can't though it seems you can the second someone gets that in they pull and the pain is excruciating. If you did manage to do that the person would probably continue right after that and you are screwed my friend.

  • @divertiti your retarded read the desc b4 you post

  • the uke doesn`t try to punh him!! just moved his arm vaguely in his direction then waits?

  • No actually it is a real sparring match...

  • he waits

  • Saru Shime.

  • You have to be careful with this move, if you dont set your legs right, the opponent can pin your head

  • im going to think twice about punching someone again!

  • hahahah, tsuki :)

    shit forever

  • useless in a ufc fight but fucking aswome against a noob, that thing is spectacular

  • in Pride flying armbar was known, you noob

  • it has been used in ufc. and it worked so...your wrong.

  • CExplosion, would you like it if i rephrase the argument then....This is not only impractical in a fight, but grossly more so in a MMA or even more!! in a jj match...who the fuck swings there foot with there jab? then continues to wait holding it there for a good 2 seconds? even more so without Gi you could shake through that with ease. btw proving eddie bravos genius even further gi is an archaic practice destined for death in the next 5 years. also that guy is lanky as all hell!!!!!!!!!!!

  • it doesnt have to be used against a punch. and it does work in mma matches, look it up.

  • Very cool, very precise move.

I agree with you, saying that belts are overrated. They just fulfill the purpose of holding the Gi ;)

In Germany, where I'm from, you also have to do an exam in front of a comission.

    You're cool guy ;)

  • thats fuckin tight

  • Are you two really black belts?

  • Belts are Overrated. And if you watch closely, you can see I wear a brown belt here. In Holland you don't get a black belt for judo/jiu-jitsu/karate from one person (normally). You need to take an exam in front of a commission.

  • zeg maar wanneer! hij loopt al hij loopt al XD

Nederlander dus :P Nice video waar train je?

  • In Veldhoven

  • sweet

  • mega cool

  • i hate those "NET-Streetfighters" that always says "well on the street that is useless blah blah blah" common guys we dont live on a fight movie or in the mortal kombat realm, most of the martial artist dont even use their skills on the street in their whole life, and on a street fight always the best choice is to go away, u dont know who are u fighting or if he is armed.

  • @CExplosion couldn't have said it any better!

  • @CExplosion And also when you black belt in some martial arts, you get the title Deadly Weapon. So, if the fought someone on the street, it would be like pulling a gun. They would go to jail.

  • @CExplosion

it is not useless and got not effect

    it is in the midle

  • really cool for the shows

  • Neat!

  • If someone uses this in a real life situation, then he is a total retard. The discussion between BJJ people and all those 'streetfight' guys is endless, with or without my video.

  • Im glad someone asseses the fact that this stuff is to be used in competition not real life, learning this will not allow you to "bring a gun to a knife fight" learning these teqniques will only result to "bring a knife to a gun fight" idiots lol

  • Totally irrespective of the description, there are ways of setting up the flying armbar which do NOT involve a ridiculous lunge punch, and don't create the impression you're trying to make it look like a street move.

  • I know there are other ways of setting up an armbar. I thought about 2 seconds on how to set up this trick. At the time I liked that straigt punch. If you don't like it, no problem. But maybe you should go back to school and learn to read. Then you can read the first sentence of my 'info' (and the last one). But good for you that you figured all those things out yourself.

  • I know what you meant. But you could have easily shown it from a realistic punch rather than a lunge punch, or from the clinch to avoid the punching alternative altogether.

Showing it like this makes it look like LARPed crap and gives ammunition to all the "street fighter" wannabe douchebags out there who've been looking for an excuse to bag BJJ since UFC 1.

  • This is goddamned ridiculous. The last move I would even consider using on the street would be a flying armbar. It's a low percentage, flashy move.

People like you give the TMA fanatics ammunition.

  • Did you read the description?

  • Why even train this stupid shit if it wouldn't work in real life.

  • It looks cool :p.

  • prooc, it DOES work. I study many different MMA styles such as Muai Thai, Jujitsu, wrestling, numerous chinese martial arts, and sambo. If it didn't work, why the hell would sambo incorporate it into their techniques? Sambo is all about practicality and eliminating all useless movements. Don't call it stupid shit. Study physics.

  • this is totaly possible, you can also verrify to the shorter version without the 180 at theend

  • very impressive. and looks very effective. but it looks as if it will only work if the opponant punches like that guy did. most poeple on the street dont punch straight, with a leading leg. unless they are trained in karate or something. but if your opponent was to punch like that, it will be the last time he does it

  • You don't have to begin with a punch. You can also start from grapling positions.

I do not think people attack me like that, I assume they start with a right hook.

About the leading leg: you don't have to do the fancy 'put hand on shoulder, and step onto his leg'part. Watch the other armbar movies, they skip that part (except for Jeremy Corbell).

  • very nice, 5 stars

  • shortandsour: "well you know that one martial art with like freaking fast punches and thats it... it's proven useless because 1: if you actually hit something your punches are alot slower and 2: it doesn't have enough defense"

My point of view is that nothing is useless. To really gain an effective style you most follow what the grandmasters followed and not follow a style. That's why MMA athletes usually train multiple styles. Mixing creates better stuff than sticking to one thing.

  • Cool move! 5 stars and favorite!

  • sweet

  • Nice, but isnt this a armbar?

  • I don't know the difference, plz tell me what the difference is.

  • I would think this flying armbar..

  • An armbar is an armlock.

  • so cool God bless

  • I think it is pretty funny that somebody here has given me 4 thumbs down because I made a comment that the "Flying Armlock" would be difficult to put on me. Hey, I am not a huge BJJ fan but I will be the first to admit that it is a very flashy move. I would love to see the same guy do it on Concrete or Asphalt. BJJ has rules, the street doesn't. As many fights as I have been in on the street, I never found myself standing on floor mats.

  • Ok, how many times do I have to tell this: Read my description before posting. If you weren't so lazy, you would have read: "I wouldn't use it in streetfight for 2 reasons: you get on the ground (BJJ sucks when attacked by more than one guy), it hurts to get to the ground this way (no mats on the street). " I can assure you I am no easy opponent even for you and you're 32 black belts. My 'real' fighting tricks are very dirty, and not very 'flashy'.

  • Ok, I just want you to understand a few things:

    - I train 'without style', if I see a nice technique I want to learn it, no matter which style it comes from.

    - Nothing is useless

    - Everybody is my trainer, I really would love to see you're favourite techniques. Nobody knows it all.

    - Black belts are overrated, I just want to have them so that stupid people listen to what I have to say.

    - I train mainly in Koryu uchinadi, search it on youtube.

  • ok yea Rambo...judging by ur name i can tell ur a big badd ass as everyone on the internet... second of all as i do agree on you... anything can happen in the street like you said... so anything can happen, including flying armbars... if ur not a pussy to hit concrete... if its a one on one fight with no interuptions anything can happen....but its never like that... id use BJJ in the street only to gain the upper hand to ground and pound...and btw rambo ur gay

  • Hey!!! Did you guys see Jackie Chan do this in Rush Hour three? I just saw it and it was frigging awesome!

  • i saw rush hour 3, in which part did het perform it? (after how many mins)

  • ON YT type in Rush Hour 3 hospital, and click on the first result. It is right after Carter crawls behind the flipped over bed.

I got so damn excited after I saw that shit in there...JJ kicks ass!

  • This move has won many an amature jiu jitsu competition. dont knock it till someone does it to you.

  • Ok Jackass since you want to get all touchy. It's a sweet move....everybody does what they have to do to win a street fight. I think people get on here looking for tips in a street fight. Sorry I ruffled your feathers. Relax your nerves. This is youtube. Not that serious.

  • Sorry, didn't really mean to be an ass over it. Just got sick because you really weren't the first.

  • will never happen. unless your opponent stands still. or just sucks.

  • OK,I should add it to 'about this video', you're just stupid to say that, everybody who thinks I would use this is an idiot. You're simply wasting you're time saying that, I know it's a show trick. Wtf do you think, even if it works, on concrete it's dangerous for both. I usually train 'streetfight' based, no limits, no rules, I know how to defend myself. I usually use very dirty tricks, but they're not fun to watch.

  • A great move as long as your opponent stands perfectly still for you to do it.....

  • he stood still to be save. but if you do move with no control. there gose the arm and the back. i dont think he was aiming for that

  • Your opponent doesn't have to stand still... watch some other movies about this move and find out...

  • Well, with 30 years experience in the Martial Arts, 4 Black Belts and the last 15 years teaching, I would love to have that guy attempt to demonstrate it on me. I can think of about 6 different things I would do that would make it extremely difficult for him to accomplish it.

  • People keep telling me it doesn't work, please watch Rumina's armlock. In Japan there are guys (small ones) who can perform this trick one anyone. To add one more thing: I wouldn't use this trick for any other reason than show. And with your 30 years of experience you should at least try to perform it, instead of saying it is bullshit. And to add one more thing: there are no moves that cannot be countered, 6 ways isn't that much. Your students probably love this trick.

  • is one of them just criticise it on the internet?

  • Thats sweet

    Im thinking of joining jujitsu

  • You probably won't regret it. It's a very good base to start with.

  • That's a good idea, i have trained Jujitsu in 2/1 years now and i recomende u start on it :)

  • allright, sorry. had to read the description. . . :P

  • Very Cool! Jeremy Corbell rules! So does the flying armlock. How did you practise for it? Just do it? Looks really nice!

  • iv always wanted to try it, but no will is willing to let me there too afraid of being kicked in the head, just go for it, even if they get kicked in the head its not the end of the world

  • In real life, nobody's going to stand there with an outstretched arm and let you jump off their exposed thigh.

  • Oh, you figured that out all by yourself! Wow, you're good man. I actually really thought that it's fun to do on a concrete floor. This is a show trick, of course I won't use it on the street. However there are people (pro's) who use a very similar technique.

  • Just to add something on, if you learn to manipulate the bodies gravity in the way these guys do, youll know the simpler ways more efficiently by feeling..... meaning, if you can sit on someones head and flip them over you into an arm bar, the majority of sweeps will be a piece of cake

  • If a attacker wants to punch you like that way, he will :P.

  • Oe Maxie paxie extractie hyperactie, penetractie. Very nice man!

But you still can't hold your liquor;D

  • that was pretty awsome please make an instruction vid

  • please make an instuction video on how to do this and send it to me!

  • very nice!!!!!!!!!!! please once more!!!!

  • vet man

  • Nice !

  • wooooh nice 1

  • wow not bad

  • Jeremy Corbell rocks!!
