Aion was a terrible joke in my opinion..the pvp gear you could get made it one sided, both pve and pvp..and the pvping wasnt really at all that fun in my opinion, as a couple classes were OP..and im not a fan of being FORCED into pvp..i didnt buy the game tho, a friend of mine did for me, so no harm done on my end when i left

In the end it was so bad that people dropped the game by piles. Finally the expansion was released... a year to late and the damage was way to far along. Most of Aion players had left, ticked off, mad, tired of the nothing to do but grind or gank. So sure you can buy the game but what IS left is a game on its last leg. They started with over 60 servers and last I heard they are down to six. Hope that answers it.

One of the best games ever... and an example of how once again some stupid corporations thirst for money instead of paying attention to what really matters has yet slit the throat of another fantastic thing. I played it for months but no more. So good, so much promise SO MANY cool things, stamped out. Stupid corporate.

@shardsofsteel Aion is no longer active? Completely? Or have several features just been removed? I was considering getting it, but if it is no longer an active MMO there is obviously no point in it.

@shardsofsteel oh it's still played but the servers have been taken off line one after the other and condensed way down. Basically it's just barely limping along. They released it to soon resulting in the game bottoming out. (along with other reasons) so when those that ground like madmen reached the top and guess what - no more real content all that was left was pvp griefing. Once you leave the noob zone consider ever aspect of the game a gank fest unless you you do EVERYTHING with a team.

Aion is great if your a huge PvP lover..otherwise it's ill advised..dont get me wrong, i love aion even tho im not a big PvP lover, just sayin..as for the music, i've seen her live, and shes absolutely amazing

Don't know if you've been on lately but they totally killed the PvP. At least the rifting. And to be honest I'm rather miffed about it!

Finally i think there are a better game than lineage 2,dont understand why people make comparison with WoW,this game is more similar to Lineage 2.
