fedor would still have an advantage in the weight department even if anderson fights at 220 because fedor has more body mass or body fat. Andeson even at 220 is still a pretty skiny guy. it would be better if fedor came down to 205. fedor only weighs 225-230 pounds maybe. he can surely cut 20 to 25 pounds easily. it's only water weight anyway.

Who has Silva fought in the last 3 years that is a master in more than one discipline meaning how many have Silva fought that are of a black belt/olympic calibre in more than one style. The answer is Nada/Zero/Zilch. Now enters GSP a whole new weapon to conquer Silva who meets this level in at least 3 disciplines(Wrestling, Jiu-Jitus and Karate). Size and reach won't mean much when GSP slams Silvas ass down and turns him into a tar mat.

185 lb weight class is NOT suitable for Anderson Silva. IF Dana wanted to do something interesting, then he would get him into the 205 class to where there is some major contenders to fight Silva.
And yes....he does have the 185 middle class belt...who care...Penn tried to fight for the 170 class...

he never fought wanderlei professionally and lost... the only people he lost to were two nobodys early in his career, as well as yushin okami by dq and ryo chonan by submission.
I think they need to hit him with Shogun but that seems unlikely since they both trained at Chute Boxe at one point together.

maybe in exhibitions, but their official fight records state they never went vale tudo against each other. Wanderlei ESPECIALLY did Vale Tudo before and has many documented fights to prove it, but the only way they would do it is if they were unsanctioned exhibitions.

he should stay at 205 if he wants to remain one of the top fighters, that is behind Fedor. Seriously he needs to stay at 205, he walks around 220lbs when hes not training for a fight.

its interesting because fedor is a HW therefore doesn't have to cut weight and weighs in at 225-230. im just thinking of it in terms of p4p, they weigh pretty much the same.
they could theoretically fight at the same weight if fedor lost 5 lbs.

fedor would still have an advantage in the weight department even if anderson fights at 220 because fedor has more body mass or body fat. Andeson even at 220 is still a pretty skiny guy. it would be better if fedor came down to 205. fedor only weighs 225-230 pounds maybe. he can surely cut 20 to 25 pounds easily. it's only water weight anyway.
