Anyone planning a trip to Japan should go to Osaka. It is an incredible place. The footage of the Hanshin Tigers game was at Osaka Stadium and not the traditional home of the Tigers, Koshien Stadium. Koshien is the place to see a Tigers game. It is the oldest stadium in all of Japan and has an amazing atmosphere.

If it is the WORLD series in baseball, come on... bring in Japan and other WORLD countries as well, if you want to call it THE WORLD SERIES....

@portraitphenomenon MLB calling it the World Series is pretty accurate. It's has by far the highest talent level of any baseball league in the world as it includes the best international players, many from Japan (see Ichiro). It's the same reason the NBA's Dallas Mavericks are considered "WORLD Champions" since they are the best of the best.

It's actually referred to as Buddhism or Shinto, depending on the festival. Obon is Buddhist, I believe.
