  • No, we didn't see people buying food out of windows. However, it seemed everyone came on board with bags of noodles and snacks. Next for us...some time back in the USA.

  • @LaurenBercarich You won`t care about how bad the train environment is,because there are worse things to stare in here,If you earns 1000$ per month,You will also "came on board with bags of noodles and snacks",Just the same to us.

Every nation have it`s developping process. We are poorer, and you are happend to be wealthyer,That`s the reason.

    It`s nothing.

  • Again -- everything else was booked. Hard Seats were the only seats available.

  • @LaurenBercarich sorry i didn't see it..

  • @LaurenBercarich sorry i din't see it..

  • Come on you got the cheapest seats - the destination was worth it though.

Try the soft seat or hard sleeper next time.

  • @theautomaster You are right

  • 28hour's hardseat?! unbelievable

  • Sleeper cars were booked -- the hard seat was not our first choice! Yes, people were loud, but quite nice :)

  • ya Chinese do talk loud. Its easier to adjust to if you actually speak and understand what they are saying. Otherwise its like 28 hours of a rockband playing loud rock when youre more of a classical music type: annoying.

If you understand what they are saying, the noice disappears when you want it to, like pressing a switch.

  • get in a sleeper car. 23 hours trip on seats? crazy

  • Haha, you know. It happens quite offen in China. I hate long railway journey.

I am not talkative, and I wouldn't make loud noises. less-educated people. especially the young one does./

  • Are you on vacation from teaching?
