  • they came to the barn i ride at :PP

  • Hi. Where do they live- when not on the road?

    Love them!

  • Great video. I've linked to it from my Budweiser Clydesdales article at ilovehorses-dot-net.

  • They're so beautiful *.*

  • Awesome!

  • God bless America!

I love St Louis soo much, friendliest city in America.

    Go Cards!

  • I wonder weither Yankee likes Yankee candles or weither he invented them

  • The stalls are really small for those huge horses, my horse that are almost half the size has a much bigger stall and she are in a 2 hectare pasture for at least 12 hours a day!

But maybe the just are in those stall for a short period...?

  • @lillan2 yeah they like cannot move about in those stalls its kinda wrong to do that to such beautiful horses

  • @barbarabowden Damn, wish I could be treated so badly.

  • @barbarabowden Surely you don't think those horses stay in the stall for any length of time?

  • @CARNES0410 Yes I do Ok?????????????????

  • LOL they may be work horses! IDK how much work they do exactly, they are certainly very well trained horses to pull in a 8 horse team. In the end though they live better then most people do lol!

  • wow, I think those clydesdales are so beautiful.

  • were are they held

  • these are some beautiful horses

  • when i was at a horse show in tampa, florida i was just walking around with my friends and we got to see the budwieser clydesdales. The trailers they came in looks like the big pegasus horse trailers but they were personalized. I actually got to go inside one of thier stalls. They held up the horses hoof and it was as big as my head! It was one of the best expierences ive ever had!!! : )

  • well, the Dalmatian is the real star. The only thing is they weren't the guard dog, they were a carriage dog, they cleared the path for the horse drawn carriages (Fire etc.).

I wish they let Dog's in Busch Gardens, my Dal would be the highlight of the park and would love every minute of it.

  • @dbates23114 Sorry, wrong. :) Check your breed history. They were originally bred as guard dogs in Dalmatia, Croatia. They were also used as guard dogs for unattended fire engines as well as the firehouses themselves. Their use as carriage dogs was mostly by a foofoo segment of the population of the time. This may very well be the main root cause of the degradation of the breed resulting in deafness, blindness, etc., due to breeding to a "look" for many generations, rather than to health.

  • we had the pleasure of having them in our parade this year

  • mhm -.-

  • They don't use mares because of their heat cycle and the fact the mares are generally busy raising foals. But mares also tend to be a little more 'agressive and pushy' especially during certain times of the month, like most women haha. But geldings overall are laid back and level headed and don't easily get agitated.

Actually in my opinion it hurts less to be stepped on by a draft, only the edge of the hoof actually makes contact where as with a small horse you get the whole hoof

  • @dothedew1989 actually most mares when on a regular pyhisical cycle don't usually clyde that bad or if they even do.Just because they are a mare doesn't make them less likely to achieve the job.

  • Why do they only use geldings?

  • I figure the reason is that mares are used for breeding and the stallions would fight

  • it must suck to get stepped on by one of those!

  • there is a team in sea world san antonio texsas they r huge and awsome

  • i miss my clydesdales tonic and vodka =[ i left them in west coast with me mum for a couple months but yaayyy i get to see them again in a few weeks and im gonna brake them in hopfully =D

  • They're kept in Missouri.

  • Actually there are six teams. Only one team is kept in St. Louis. The rest are kept in different places around the country and are the ones that do the traveling. These horses are so well cared for that the trailers they are hauled in have harness' in them to help support their weight. Amazing animals. If you ever get the chance, go see them at Grants Farm in St. Louis. One of the biggest thrills of my life, & an experience I won't soon forget

  • I love Clydesdales actually any horse that has feathers i love i love em all though!

  • horsefeathers!

  • I love the them! I have only seen them twice though, but I have pics w/ Milo!

  • Where's the littlest clydesdale?

  • they are so pretty

  • They are from Scotland! Nothing but good comes from there. :9 Thanks.
