What if I wanted to import sequence of images that have transparent background , and overlay a video is there an simple way to do this ? For example lets say I made a 3D animation in Blender3D , and exported 100 image in a sequence and want to put them over top a video can that be done.
Is there an Linux program equivalent to a programs like Flash 8, toonboom, Anime Studio, "ArtRage" for Linux ? I would gladly pay money for good 2D animation in Linux if there was any.
@gotbletu I have. There seems to be so many versions of Kdenlive - & they ALL do different things with completely different ways to achieve the same thing. I'm using 7.7.1 - I type a text & click OK - it appears in the project list. I drag it to the timeline - it's empty, no text.
@getjiggy21 No idea what u did, but dont be going around saying no1 teaches how to put text into video, when this video clearly shows u that its been done. If your using a newer version thats ur business to find out the little differences, this video is 2years old. You probably didnt put it on the 1st timeline or didnt allow it to show background
@gotbletu I "probably" did nothing of the sort. There is no SHOW BACKGROUND on my Kdenlive software. It all seems to be guesswork with Linux programs. I love the systems but hate the crap programs.
@getjiggy21 Again this video is 2years old, are u expecting it to be the same? Guesswork? or user error? If u hate the programs theres no point in using the system, lame logic.

How do I put text onto kdnlive. No-one teaches how to do. They all merely give a running commentary which teaches you sod all.
