Herregud! Du är så otroligt duktig och du spelar verkligen med känsla. Jag får alltid en sån otrolig lust att spela gitarr efter att jag sett på någon av dina youtubeklkipp!
Beautiful music expressively played, thank you, Per-Olov. Sor is wonderful, I had all of his pieces on 33pm, but have regretfully not replaced him on CD.
Wow man, being an Iron Maiden and Pink Floyd fan, i can truly say you rock. Anyone who makes guitar play with such tone deserves nothing but the up most respect. You Rock.

This is the piece I have been working on for the last three weeks. I have a lot of work to do to get it as smooth as you play it - something for me to aspire to.
What level would you rate the difficulty of this piece? Obviously, there is a lot of crescendos and diminuendos, but otherwise, how would you rate it?
It depends on how coordinated you are, how well you can finger pick, and how well you change speeds. cause if you listen it sounds similar to the waves on a beach, the volume builds up then fades.
beautiful! I am amazed. My teacher just assigned this piece to me last week, I hope i could play it well soon. I've been playing classical for a year and i do love it!! Thanks for sharing this video, i am inspired!
Your playing is a true inspiration. You have such great tone! At 46 years old I am just now returning to the classical guitar after years of being plugged into an amp. This is one of the pieces I am relearning. After listening to you play it I can see that I have a long way to go. Thanks for your posts!

i really really love your style and it's quite hard to find a guitarist or a musician who understands and applies good interpretation but may I ask you to tone down the echo in your recording future, you know , it's a bit too loud, if it's not too much to ask. I hold you in really high regards.
I am learning this study. The first thing I do when learning a piece is to search YouTube to see if you have video on here. Such is the case with Lagrima and Op. 35 No. 22. This helps me so much. I also subscribe to your channel watch your videos over and over. The first half of this study is easy, but I have difficulty with the second half, so I must go and practice now. Thanks!
Na minha opnião você deve destacar mais a melodia, o acompanhamento está muito destacado, esse estudo não é de arpejos mas sim de mélodia acompanhada.
Hey Giuliano, there is more to bringing out a melody than simply playing it louder than the accompaniment. In this case the player made the melody very lyrical and distinct through a subtle contrast of timbre and gave it coherence and integrity through his extraordinary phrasing. He could have played those arpeggios much louder and still the melody would still have been clear. He clearly knows what he is doing and has decided that this way is, for him, the most musical.
Wonderful,as usual ! If I am not mistaken, you modified the structure in the second part when repeating only part of it (I mean after the barré) I think you were right and will follow your example-with less talent,unfortunately...-Thanks
Superb example of clear and well timed playing, as Sor wrote this in 3/4 timing i just imagine someone dancing walz to it spot on as far as I can tell. Hope to progress to playing this myself in next 18 months but no doubt it will take longer to play it as well as you have.
cher erikk73 juste un peu d humour car je sui vraiment debutant 8 mois de pratik mais jespere bien devenir consertiste kan meme lol kan je voi cette video je pense ke le chemin sera long! slt .
Lovely! Very, very nice! I'm just starting to learn this piece myself I hope to get it down as well as this performance. :) Truly one of the great pieces in the guitar canon.
monsieur permété moi de vous dire ke vou jouer divinement bien vous éte un exemple pour nous pauvre guitariste ke nous somme!! merci et merci encore! .un future consertiste!
yes, I use to watch you too, keep posting songs Peo. greetings from south america. Peru. Would you like to play ''Vals 4 of Barrios''? its the song I want to learn. thank you
Hey greetings from California!, You are a great musician sir, great touch, delicate and melodic especially in your pop arrangements. Keep posting your stuff, it really inspires people like me who just switched from years of rock and blues to a classical approach. Feliz Ano Nuevo !
Hi, I've been playing rock music on guitar for about a year now. My classical piano teacher recommended I search this on youtube, and wow. This video inspired me to learn classical guitar.
One more thing, is the tempo supposed to be this fast? I was trying to follow along with the music sheet and you play it very fast! Very good though! Maybe I'll just play it slow :) Thanks for the great video!
My dear friend... No! You don't have to play it this fast! Please do it slower. I even think it could sound, in a way, better a bit slower. Sor never gave an inication so feel free to do what you like.
Indeed, it's a great story! 7 times!!! Hmm I think it's the 8th time re-watching this clip, would've loved to watch it 7 times live too. Is this hard to play? It sounds easy and hard at the same time. Do you have the music sheet for it?
Watching you and Eduardo play online makes encourages me to play guitar and makes me realize I will never be as good as you guys, but still love to mess around and watch you guys play. :)
Hi there. Yes, Lalo is a great player/composer. No, if you can play barree, it's not that difficult. And you have to be able to play with 4 fingers on your right hand.
Hmm... I can play Despertar, I Miss You, and Sea of Nectar (still have to finish it). Maybe I'll tackle this piece for next semester of guitar lessons.
Hi Per Olov, can you tell me what recording devices you use to record/video your playing

Very good playing! But.... according to my taste it is slightly too fast. The Segovia edition gives 'Moderato' as a tempo and if you play it a little bit slower than you do it gives the piece more 'sadness'.
Moreover, the repeat sign at the end of the piece starts from measure 17....

Priceless is your gift.

Wonderful,as usual ! If I am not mistaken, you modified the structure in the second part when repeating only part of it (I mean after the barré) I think you were right and will follow your example-with less talent,unfortunately...-Thanks

This is one of my favorite Sor songs. I'm learning it now and I use you as a reference on how to play it right. And, I also bought your CD.

Prof. Kindgren,
This almost breaks the mold of the term 'hauntingly beautiful'. Is this your arrangement, and can it be purchased on your website.

Dear Desmond. Thank you. I am happy you like it.
No, it's original from Sor's hand. I haven't changed anything exept the fingerings...
I plan to put it on my web site later.

Superb example of clear and well timed playing, as Sor wrote this in 3/4 timing i just imagine someone dancing walz to it spot on as far as I can tell. Hope to progress to playing this myself in next 18 months but no doubt it will take longer to play it as well as you have.

5 stars.

One more thing, is the tempo supposed to be this fast? I was trying to follow along with the music sheet and you play it very fast! Very good though! Maybe I'll just play it slow :) Thanks for the great video!
chaiT07 3 years ago
My dear friend... No! You don't have to play it this fast! Please do it slower. I even think it could sound, in a way, better a bit slower. Sor never gave an inication so feel free to do what you like.
Good luck!

Hi! Thank you.
I am glad you like it.
I play a Philippe Jean-Mairet from Switzerland. I ordered it in 1987. Google him. I think he has a web page now.

Wow that is really great. Would that I could play like that :-) I think I need another 90,000 hours of practice first though :-)

Good luck!
