Excuse me for not knowing which noutou your "home school" does, but for those learning Musou Shinden Ryuu or other schools which require horizontal noutou, there are some fantastic explanations and pictures in Tora no Maki with Kawaguchi sensei.
@1pathseeker all my swords are in usa. i bought this iaito here. its not a cheap blade though. i was lucky to find a heavy blade here. i was afraid i'd have to use something like tinfoil.
@RaiAntou ah glad to hear it. 不客气。 i tried not to go into too much detail in this video. also was hard because apartments are so tiny here in japan. i almost put a hole in my door with my saya.
Nicely explained, Lenny! The noto is the most important part in kata competition as it is the last image of the contestant's technique to the judges. If only I speak good English, I'll definitely do more tutorials. xD Speaking cantonese would be inappropriate xD, although I'm learning Japanese.
Good work my friend! Exellent

Wonderful too see you teaching again brother. Are you using the aircraft grade aluminum iaito in Japan due to the restrictions.

@lennybruce8 Yeah, too detailed makes stuff complicated. Glad you didn't use horizontal noto instead of yokonoto and so. xD
