When I tell people I believe in "taxing and regulating" I mean that it should be treated like alcohol. You can go out to any store and purchase as much alcohol as you would like. All alcohol purchased has a state or local tax on it, just like tobacco does. I think such a system is sufficient, as the amount of people distilling their own liquor for illegal distribution is negligible.

This isnt a case about POT... this is a case about State rights. The Judge is correct that he cant avoid this, but this needs to be appealed to the Supreme Court to find out if this law is Constitutional.

My thoughts are this type of thing should be left to the State to decide, because the Constitution doesnt give the Fed jurisdiction on POT or any drug for that matter. Actually, I pray SCOTUS finds that the ATF and DEA are both unconstitutional in nature.
