A psychologist friend of mine told me there is a mental boost that you receive from completing the rack, thus if your opponent has two simple shots left, it can do two different things depending on your opponent. You can rob him of the reinforcing pocketing of his last two, a good thing, but with some players this can backfire and your giving him the respect of not making him shoot them can actually be a boost to HIS game.

Just because your opponent gives you the last two balls, doesn't mean you have to let him. You're the player at the table, and you have the control to decide if you want to run out.

i asked corey a long time ago why he gives his opponent the last couple balls. he said "if i know he's gonna get out i don't want him having more time to loosen up and pocket balls" actually makes sense

I cant help but laugh when watching this, Earl is always trying out new shit that he hopes might give him an edge. in the U.S. open he sported some rays and he had teenis wrap all over his cue.
