It makes me cry every time I remember the Spurs lost in the 2011 Playoffs. If there's someone who's hurt the most about that loss, he would be Manu Ginobili. He's the ultimate competitor. You could just tell it on his interviews,"not watching the 2011 NBA Finals" where the Spurs team should've been there. "Preparing for the 2012 Olympics" and the likes, sticking to his team and believing they could still win a RING. That's him‼ He's Manu Ginobili, the NBA's 1999 2nd Round "57th" pick.
bruce bowen makes such gr8 observations....ive heard him speak in other videos.....kobe/ nash etc and hez spot on in his observations.....spurs always have such intelligent players on their team.....wish the young players coming up learn humility and unselfishness ......they should be reminded that eventually bb is a team game....if only players were more unselfish hoops>football(soccer)
in this video Pop and bruce sum up what manu is all about....a natural baller....u get these kind of players very very rarely....MJ / kobe/ AI /wade and now CP3 and T Parker.....these guys are just naturally gifted players......same as manu!
btw 2005 playoff mvp was manu not TD....yes TD is THE player for spurs ...i think it was due to his leadership (apart from his gr8 talent) that made TP/ manu become the very gr8 players they are now...but u have to agree 2005 playoffs was manu's show!
watch out this season ....spurs are gonna b dangerous....and the main reason will b offensive rebounding......dejuan blair watch out for this guy...and TD getting more rest wid mcdyess and ratliff...Jefferson adding a much needed 3rd option when manu is on the bench.....this spurs team is the only team which can challenge the lakers.....lakers vs spurs will be exciting 1c again as it has to be.....and i hav a feeling it will come down to manu or kobe making a clutch play....my bet is on manu :)
They sure as hell missed this dude these playofffs :( Not saying they would have won it but they are completely different without him in the lineup on O.
amazing highlights

dallas always beat us by 5 or 10 points, but if manu was healthy he will be able to fill in those points and beat the mavs
