The FD is still running the stock twin turbo's lol... 350HP is a good tune for the standard turbo's and engine (non ported etc..) I'll be happy to get that sort of power out of mine.

@funnyblackmans Tsuchiya was beaten by Orido when he was driving a FD tuned by amemiya-san. btw Tsuchiya was driving a 600hp R34. The FD only had 400hp. since I realised rotarys are more powerful then any other engine (always a question about modding of course) I am addicted. That a tiny SR20DETT can pwn a 13B, wow. OH WAI! just look at the power of each car. the S15 definitly has a hugh advantage :/

The GT-R is a great tuner machine, however; it's not king of the touge. It will still spank cars, but the RX-7 will spank it in the corners and very tight narrow turns. That NSX will also give a GT-R a run for its money with it's great balance. The designer and engineers had different goals in mind than with the GT-R than Honda and Mazda. GT-R is supposed to be a powerful fast machine that's heavy giving it a well planted feel with good corner exit speed. It just comes up short in entrance.

@iloveheavymetal1 on what basis are you basing your statement that rx-7's are bad? if im not mistaken, re amemiya's rx7 ruled the jgtc 300 class for years. mcr's r34 gtr lost consistantly to amemiya's rx7 in the touge maou series of best motoring even beating out kouki model s2000s which are handling beasts, gtrs and 7s have been speed tested side by side only to have 7's come out on top in the oval tracks. fact of the matter is, the rx7 has an awesome racing lineage for a reason.

@iloveheavymetal1 and so you say rx 7's suck? again i ask on what basis are you basing ur judgment, 1 vid does not disprove that rx7's are great vehicles. do more research on rx7's and you'll see why their design concepts and engines have barely been changed for more 30 years. perfect 50/50 weight dist. light weight but high out put power plant, rigid and light chassis, neutral handling...you really cant fault rx7's. case in point look at how highly modified the supra and gtr is compared 2 the 7

@iloveheavymetal1 part 2: the 7 barely has any mods yet it was deem worthy to compete with the other highly modded vehicles....doesnt take a genious to figure that out. need more proof look for the touge maoh vid where a 350 hp rx7 spanks a 500hp r34 gtr (550 with scramble boost) with tsuchiya struggling to keep up even with the scramble boost active. rx7's are sucky cars? i think not

@iloveheavymetal1 1 rx7 are always fast 2 a stock rx7 will WTF rape a stock skyline. the advantage of a skyline is 4wd. beginning and end of story. with both cars stock they would both make 280hp and the rx would be like 500-600 pounds lighter. they are both amazing cars, but seriously stfu already. you have no idea what you are talking about. this was not a fair race, it was a fun race to act as a send off for 4 amazing cars.

@iloveheavymetal1 sent you a link to another youtube vid: except for the body kit there are only a few mods internally resulting in 350 hp from the rx 7. the mcr r34 has more mods + awd and pushing 550 hp. you can find the stats on both the cars at the time of battle through hot version international. even with keiichi tsuchiya behind the wheel of the gtr, it still loses to the rx7. underpowered rx7 vs 550hp gtr + jgtc champ/drift king - kinda hard to argue results after seeing that vid
