I'm guessing this is a mis-type, but non-believers SHOULD be in church. And being in a choir doesn't usually require a long interview, so it's not surprising there. My problem with the church in regards to this guy is that it sounds like they aren't really providing for his needs--they aren't answering his questions and directing him toward God. He's still lost and no one there knows it. So sad.

My point is that Jesus said he was God's only son, and did not think it robbery to be called Lord and God. Saying these things, he's either God, insane, or the devil (as CS Lewis puts it) to call Him anything else is patronizing foolishness.

And to answer your crude question, yes, he did all those things, except die underground. He died, executed, and was buried. He was sacrificed to fulfill the law and redeem His creation on Earth... resurrected on the third day. But yes, My God Yahweh, sent His son to earth for His creation... for that purpose.

I agree that you are probably right about yours and Thomas' response. He doubted at first, but after he saw proof, he believed. And so will you. I just pray it's sooner than later.

No u dont get it.  Thomas never doubted. When he said to Christ that there were no words to describe who he was. Christ took him "up the mountain" and initiated him. When he returned he said "This is Thomas he is now my Brother" meaning he was equal to Christ.

Thomas said he wouldn't believe in Jesus Sovereign Resurrection until "I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe it." Stop doubting and believe." to which Thomas' response was, "My Lord and My God!" Not sure where your facts are from but they're incorrect.

It's just a video to accentuate people's reactions. That said, I will assume that you don't use the term "saved" if you are a Christian.

For the sake of that, Jesus himself stated that "whosoever believes in me shall not perish, but have everlasting life" Let's just say that is our definition of "saved". I would like to know what extra works you believe would have to be done before one is considered "saved". Believing is not a passing moment of a decision. Believing in this context is a complete revelation of life, God, and man's place in the hierarchy of spiritual order.

The deeper understanding you refer to is puzzling to me, but only if you are throwing it at being "saved." There is certainly deeper revelation and knowledge to be had regarding the Kingdom of God, which is separate from "salvation".
