  • *gasp* The runtime 75 error! I get that every time and can't find any good answers anywhere. Do you know anything about it? Thanks.

  • How can I set up a wireless conection on Vista?

  • right click then execute/open as admin

or get APE, I found it a little better to use

  • Can you still run Windows? I'm 11, and a BIG Mac fan..

  • i have the same problem as chipudnik, but im on xp. help!

  • same answer, make your virtual RAM smaller. :)

  • Sorry, but APE is better.

  • that's really a matter of opinion, APE is a little bit easier to use but IIRC it doesn't have as many options for configuring it as PearPC does.

  • hey great videos, but i have one question, i am on vista, and the shortcut, when i double click brings up a DOS window, and then it vanishes, and nothing happens any ideas?

  • you've probably set your virtual RAM too high, try a little bit smaller number and see if it works then. :)

  • hello, i have a problem in which after i save the configuration file, a runtime error "75" appears. I need help, i dont knoe wat to do

  • U can use a pre-configured file and then edit it manually with wordpad or create it in xp with the same directories

  • Hey me again, on one of your videos you say you managed to speed up pear pc, mine lags somewhat. Can u help?

  • BTW I have changed the memory size in the config file i use, however it still runs slow... I'm asking, is there another (better) way

  • Might be because of your hardware, the downside to PearPC (over say, VMware) is that PearPC is full hardware emulation including processor emulation, where as most virtual machines will just use your physical processor, this makes PearPC a lot slower than most virtual machines, it can still run at reasonable speeds however if your hardware can handle it.

  • erm...I was wondering if it is possible to get the host pc to communicate with the pear without an internet connection for fast file transfer

    please reply. Thanks

  • Yes, it is possible to do folder sharing to the virtual machine, first get the network connection working on the Mac (see my other videos for help on this), then enable file and printer sharing on your PC and file sharing under firewall on System Preferences on the Mac, then from the Finder click Go on the Menu Bar and type in the local address of your PC (the same number you put in to "router" field IIRC).

  • Thanks for your fast reply, i will check out you're other videos and try it out tonight :)

  • This helped thanks :)
