hola, yo soy trompista y si, se disfruta mucho tocando esta obra, pero para mi de este compositor sin duda la mejor es Ross Roy

Yo he tocado el papel de esta cancion como Flauta 1 y mi parte favorita es sin duda la parte del solo que tenemos en el 4:51, aunque el resto tambien me gusta. El Adagio ese en general es mi parte favorita, pues me recuerda a un juicio en el que alguien ha hecho algo malo y lo van a condenar y me imagino a esa persona amarrada andando entre un pasillo abierto entre la gente mientras él va haca su muerte. Jeje, es un poco tétrico, pero es lo que me transmite.

this sounds so like a pokemon story.. at the beginning the accelerando is like a wild ratatta attacking, then bug catcher john challenges ash to a duel.

pikachu evolves at 5:16 :) and at 6:00 it is the fanfare for the opening of the pokemon championships, at the major key at the end is when he wins he tournament and becomes the champion :)

This sounds very much like a film score. I'm surprised Jacob de Hann doesn't compose for movies. Many of his pieces sound like film scores. This band sounds great by the way.

this is a fantastic performance... but one tiny thing i noticed:

at bar 138 (just before the adagio), the person playing the 2nd percussion part completely ignores the printed tambourine part and instead continues playing the crash cymbals.

is this a different edition or just player/conductor preference? does anyone have ideas about which sounds better?
