@xTheSmellyCatx Thanks. I just use spiral compact fluorescent bulbs from walmart for the refugium/mangroves. I will upload an update video soon. The mangroves now are growing their branches and leaves.

What is the point of the mangroves?To act as a filter?
Yes. Just like the macro algae, they eat up nitrates.
