i have an hq scout 5m and i flew i my first day in 19 gusting to 26 mph winds it picked me up and carried me 15 ft and i wasnt trying to do that and i get why u might not have flown for a few months
The Blade 4.9 is a awesome kite, I use a Blade III 8.5 & the life is something spectacular, can overpower a bit too much in gusts, keep working on the jumps, you got the idea how it works, you'll have them nailed soon. I can reach around 8 feet in a good constant 15mph on a blade 4.9 with no gusts.

you need to get the kite a bit higher before you go for a jump!! then you will get hight and not get dragged :)

You think that was bad? Thats pathetic, I went 20ft up on my PL Twister and that was in 30 mph gusts, I know a bit stupid#!!!!
