@who1cares she has always said that was secret signals to certain people. some family and friends, sometimes the boyfriend she had at the time. Everyone noticed it and she even replied to those questions. she just wanted some privacy as to specifically who. :)
@1:23 was that an ever so light-ly double footed landing on the flip.... other than that this sp would've still put her in contention for the gold in for this year's Olympics...truly awesome!!
God I miss her. Skating was suffering without her, but it's simply unwatchable with the new system. Bring back the Kween! Such beauty cannot be quantified into some jumble of numbers.

@thesupremediva It's doing quite well actually. There are TONS of sponsors in Asia, particularly Japan and Korea, where skating is a booming business. Kwan sucked all the attention and screwed the sport in America so much that after her pathetic curtain call in Torino, American skating suffered a lack of media and public interest. Honest athletes today are slowly rebuilding the sport after skating's destruction at the hands of Kwan.
@allenglandlawns American skating suffered a lack of media and public interest because once Kwan was gone, American skaters (Sasha Cohen) could not hold it together on the World level anymore. Constant disappointment year after year. It's a booming business in Asia because of the successes of Shizuka, Mao, Miki, and Yuna. America's great success story was Kwan. You make absolutely no sense.
@ehrenaissance As America's skating poster girl, Kwan set a terrible example for the generations ahead. She trashed the sport and it's credibility for a long time and left the sport the pathetic loser she was with that pity party in Torino. GOODBYE KWAN!!!!!!!!!!
@Karosanyo Because it is the opposite of the mentally healthy, who avoid things they hate. This stalker is addicted to its megalomanical paranoid delsuions. It should get the professional help it so obviously needs.
@allenglandlawns We can't hear you. You are drowned out by the countless spontaneous standing ovations given Kwan by the vast majority, even at her pracitce sessions.

everytime, that i feel down. i'll watch this performance. This program show me the beauty of the world, and cheer me up. Thank you so much Michelle. You teach me, that this world is wonderful.
Wow, Michelle is just a special skater that will always remain a legend. The spark in her skating cannot be found anywhere else, not in Yuma Kim, or Mao Asada.
I couldn't disagree more - I feel like the old system was pretty much incomprehensible and wrought with loopholes for favoritism and personal opinion (though after Rena and John's FS this weekend, that's still clearly true). Tenths of a point are too small of increments to score people with and they never were given a 'composite' score, just ranked by judge. There was no sense of how close the competitors were to each other. And, honestly, "usually" the right person won is not often enough!
so sensational, so beautiful, she's the true legend!

Michelle Kwan deserved to win the short program. Michelle Kwan should have won a gold medal for the short program.
