Yes I know the difference the sixaxis has a wonky anolog stick. The dualsock is by far more reliable. After a while especially if you get over excited and use the anolog sticks overly hard the the standard sixaxis the anolog goes wonky, and if you play fps games your character will move on it's own cause tge anolog stick on the six axis are flimsy. And I can see that on the video , the left anolog on your six axis is beginning to shift off centre

So it seems the only difference is that the sticks click easier..and the dual shock has shaking..

Though if you don't care about the click because you're only using one (not side-by-side), and if shock isn't meaningful to you, then they're virtually the same? So why is the dualshock 3 so much better?

I love the basic design that still is coming from the original PS1. It just is a good design.. if the PS4 comes then I hope again they use this basic simple PS1 shaped design. Unless they require functions that do not fit in such ..

@georgesk813 sixaxis is lighter because it doesnt have the rumble motors in it and it does NOT rumble. Other than that im pretty sure they are the same. I have had both since i got my ps3 and i use the lighter sixaxis more than the dualshock controller.

I just picked up one of these bad boys, and I'm noticing that it reacts quite a bit faster than my old controller, I don't feel quite so much delay between my button inputs and the action on the screen. I'm not sure whether this is because the Dualshock 3 is better, or my old controller has just been wearing out over the past 2 years of use. But I am definitely happy to have a new controller after all these years.
