We all should stop being materialistic!! If your computer is still working keep it and don't buy a new one. Buying new computer and cell-phone create more waste to our planet.

I don't know... We obviously need to handle this stuff carefully, and I know most of the time it just gets burnt. People shouldn't be dying handling our waste. But what can we do with it? We ought to just ban getting another mobile phone unless it is completely broken. Most people nowadays swap theirs every year just because it isn't the latest model.

i totally agree. and its better that third world countries do it, that way they cant get the medical help they need when they get sick from the posion in the e-waste. this way they die and thus bring down the world population. and if you think im joking about this, your wroing.

What does Greenpeace propose to do about ewaste. Send it to Bangladesh instead where no one will complain? It's a lot better this stuff gets handled by people who can actually use and recycle it, is it not? Would you prefer this stuff to be used in Singaporean land reclamation or something?
