president odinga w w w.raila07 . com B husseins cousin, supported finacilly by B hussein and campaigned for odinga who loses his election, his gang of thugs kill 1500 christians, so the REAL president agrees to share power. odinga(agent of change) is that the change you want? If so, move to Kenya with obama butchering cousin.
I know Obama will have his hands full as our new president, but I just hope one day he will be able to view some of these heartfelt videos and see how much one person can -- and does -- affect so many lives!
Nice artwork!
Obama is definitely an inspiration and a role model, to say the least!!
What a wonderful exhibit! Wish I could see it in person, but thank you for sharing it with us. I've never seen a politician inspire so much art, so much emotion, so much passionate engagement with the political process. He makes people cry on a regular basis - wow!
Do you people have even the slightest idea how creepy this is, or are you really that politically tone deaf? Here's a challenge for you: do some research on previous international political leaders who have "inspired" such iconography centered around their own image. Now what do they all have in common?
Jeremy, all such previous iconography was commissioned by the state. That IS creepy. Barack Obama is just straight up inspiring artists. BIG difference.
You're right, craynol... only wondrous figures like Chavez, Stalin, Hussein, Mussolini, Mao, Obama, and such could inspire such "positive" work as large scale portrayals of their own beautiful, enlightening faces. Yup, you've got me there. (pssstt... creepy...)
Once again... the works of Stalin, Hussein, Mussolini, Mao are ALL state sponsored. The Obama art campaign is NOT. My work is funded by people who support me and Obama.
Yep, it's bad... but nothing compared to a political environment in which a human being (that's right, I said it: he's a HUMAN BEING) is held up as the god of hope. He's just a guy. He's a pretty good guy from all I can tell, and will probably make a pretty good president (if he is elected). But again, he's just a guy. And I hate to break it to you but if he is anywhere near as sensible as he seems, Obama himself would find this stuff creepy. You're a good artist. Find other inspiration.
You seem to have issue with other's perception of Obama. You are missing the point all together. This is not about me or Barack Obama. In his own words... "I am an imperfect vessel." This movement is not about what others 'think' of him, it's more about what are YOU doing. (?)

Nope. Still creepy. If it was Bush or McCain even you would think it was creepy.

You forget... Bush nor McCain could inspire such positive work. They can only inspire negative commentary.

Oh, now I see why you're being so defensive: this video includes some of YOUR work. In that case, let me rephrase my original point. YOU are creepy.

I think our current political system is the most horrific of all.
