Another way to get 678 is this:
75x9=675,
100-25=75,
50/2=25,
75/25=3,
675+3=678.

657+25=682
100/25=4
682-4=678

Another method of 678 that actually works:
9 X 75=675
100 +50=150
150/25=6
6/2=3
675+3=678
