Scott Thomas Lowe & Atascadero were a late 1970s - early 1980 proto-alternative rock/blues band that included, as performers at one time or another, Dewey Martin (Buffalo Springfield), Jim Fielder (Buffalo Springfield/Mothers of Invention/Blood Sweat & Tears) and Luther Rabb & Ronnie Hammon (both of WAR), as well as future members of early L.A punk band Benedict Arnold & The Traitors and neo-psychedelic band The Hundredth Monkey.
