  • That Greek letter is Ksi... not Epsilon. This stuff isn't so obscure either... neither is the other side of philosophy... you remind me of Steve Brule.. dig.

  • @RenegadePhilosopher good catch on the ksi I always get them confused. Dr. Steve Brule is a hero of mine.

  • The music drowns out your narration dude. Can't handle it...can't listen! Nice try, but it SUCKS based on the musical distraction! Try again please. PEACE!

  • Love yhis...

  • Quit breathing on the mic dude.

  • Great music, awesome material !

  • Spinoza.

  • @examinfo very deep.

  • very interesting video. But I would much prefer it without music

  • hey cool videos on a very interesting topic. it's extraordinarily frustrating that the general (or even highly educated) public has little to no understanding (or even awareness) of these issues. (including myself.) and yet they love to babble about science, etc. it truly does seem like a secret history... i wonder why?

i like the music/space shooter backgrounds but agree may need careful mixing. also all the tangents may make it hard to follow BUT i still like them.

  • The music is very distracting

  • love the david guetta music

  • The background music is so ridiculously annoying that it makes me want to fucking kill the guy who made this video, even though the information that he's presenting is of much of my interest due to my love of mathematics. Please, never ever do shit like that again retard...

    fucking ever.

  • AWESOME VIDEOS CANNOT WAIT FOR MORE KEEP THEM COMING!!!!

1 question. I asked a few mathematicians about the history of calculus and most said that a man named WEIERSTRAUSS cleared up all the worries about leibnizian calculus. Could you comment on this?

    againAWESOME VIDS

  • @Lewclan Lewclan, I wish I talked about Weierstrass in part 1 or 2 but there is just so much to fit in.. Weierstrass was prob Cantor's greatest direct influence and along with Riemann, did a lot more than Cauchy to provide us modern calculus...but Weierstrass did not provide a rigorous definition for infinitesimals...it would have been nearly impossible at that time in history because of the tools it needed, but see google "The function concept Weierstrass, Dedekind and Cantor" and read hit 1

  • @GaryGeckDotCom PS I should add that most talks on Cantor mention Weierstrass's importance in their first paragraphs...I won't get into him until later on, however....I'm not progressing chronologically, but rather in an order that I think the mind can best handle...

  • @GaryGeckDotCom

Awesome imonna check out some Dedekind and Weierstrauss stuff. Could you recommend any books on these ideas? Thanks so much Gary GECK yeahhhhh

    Eagerly awaiting 3/42!!!

  • You didn't tell us a single thing about Georg Cantor's mystical philosophy of infinity.

  • @CymroGoch it's going to take me 7 videos to fully hash that out....parts 1-7 will cover this...i just have alot of side points to make that will lay the foundation for videos 8-42...don't worry it will all come together in unexpected ways....better to circle the subject matter than dive into it in an efficient and direct line.

  • music = to loud in my opinion

  • good stuff but hard to hear your voice over the (blaring) music at times. also, maybe do less talking about what you will talk about and more going straight to the content...

  • @MtotheATTHEW good comments. If you can't hear the audio, all of my videos support closed captioning you can turn on. You can even translate them to just about any popular language...pretty cool feature of YouTube I'm tapping...

  • remember to watch it in HD!!!!

  • remeber to watch it in HD!!!!
