  • This was suppose to be a new Flintsones series that I believe was done by the Ren And Stimpy

animators,There was a Pilot movie made called Flintones On The Rocks. it was aired in the early or mid 2000's

  • @cylonace Yes, this is from FLintstones On The Rocks...

  • Cool. They adopted this old ass idea and put it in the Flinstones Movie.

  • why do they have big noses in here?

  • LOL i tought it was : Fred tells Barney to SUIT UP !!!!!

  • 0:01-0:05 did you notice that in the first clip Fred's voice was being done by the late Alan Reed?

  • @67nairb

I guess it shows how good of a job Jeff Bergman did imitating the voice the rest of the time, because if you hadn't pointed it out, I never would have noticed.

  • @CJAproductionsINC I don't think that was Jeff Bergman's voice, that really sounded like Alan Reed.

  • @67nairb

I meant that Bergman does a really good job of doing Fred's voice for a majority of the movie if they can use one Alan Reed clip for a brief moment (namely 0:01-0:05) without the casual viewer noticing any difference.

  • @CJAproductionsINC Jeff Bergman provided the voice of Bugs Bunny and other Looney Tunes characters after the death of Mel Blanc in 1989, right?

  • @67nairb

Yeah. He also voices (or has voiced) George Jetson (beginning with certain scenes in "Jetsons: The Movie" after George O'Hanlon died before completing his voicework, now he mainly provides the voice for commercials that feature the character), Mr. Spacely (for the same reason that he voiced George Jetson), Yogi Bear (1990's commercials) and other classic cartoon characters.

  • @CJAproductionsINC I thought Mel Blanc's son Noel would take over as the voice the LOONEY TUNES characters after his father died.

  • @67nairb

Noel Blanc does the LT voices once in a while, but it's mostly other VA's like Jeff Bergman, Joe Alaskey and Billy West that do the voices.

  • @CJAproductionsINC VA means voice actors.

  • @67nairb

    I know.

  • @CJAproductionsINC Mel Blanc always wanted his son Noel to do the voices of the LT characters after he died. Mel always thought he had the right voice for it. In fact I've heard Noel in tv interviews and he doesn't sound very much like his father.

  • @CJAproductionsINC Oh I see now.

  • @67nairb impossible. This came out in 2001 and alan reed died in the 70s.

  • @steve5568 This was VIVA ROCK VEGAS, right?

  • @67nairb no, this is flintstones on the rocks

  • @steve5568 Oh yeah, now I remember. It aired in 2001 on CARTOON NETWORK and they played the old music FLINTSTONES music from the early 60s.

  • From what I understand, this movie was made in the same format as the original "Flintstones" episodes -- premise, dialogue, everything. And that shows how true Genndy Tartakovsky and his staff were to the original "Flintstones".

  • barnie: yaba daba dO...

    fred: SHUT UPPP

  • -_- I really hate Barney's voice here...

  • @Cartoonothing

It's more similar to his original voice than the "dumb" sounding voice everyone is most familiar with.

  • @Vorscythe Whose dumb sounding voice are you talking about?

  • @67nairb The more goofy one that came later on. "Uh-Heh-Heh-Heh! Uh-Heh-Heh-Heh-Heh-Heh!"

  • @MysteryGuyler What's so astounding about Fred telling Barney to shut up? Fred's said worse things to Barney than that, except swearing of course.

  • @MysteryGuyler Barney's voice? What cartoon is this clip from?

  • @MysteryGuyler I know what you're talking about now-Barney's classic laugh done by Mel (man of a thousand voices) Blanc. Boy. Now more than ever do we need him back to do cartoon voices.

  • Except for Grey Delisle's Betty, I thought I was watching an original episode.

  • I understand that both Hanna and Barbara are no longer in this world, but we are long overdue for a new Flintstones show/special.

  • @unicron8 haven't you heard? Seth MacFarlane is rebooting the whole series! :D YAAAY! You know... If you're into terrible writing, bad animation, cruddy voice acting and sickening gags that cut away from the plot.

  • @UlyssesFrankfurter Shut up. Seth said that he wouldn't treat the show like Family Guy. Plus he barely has anything to do with Family Guy except voice acting.

  • @unicron8 Would you be satisfied to hear Seth McFarline is developing the reboot. Before you judge, Hes a Huge fan and inspired him to become what he is today. Do you really think he's going to ruin his most beloved series?

  • @unicron8 Oh no doubt! But not like this one!

  • Omg! I would love to see the whole movie!

  • @rchan09 Its the last FLintstones animated movie. It was made by Tartakovski and its pretty mature compared to the others. I suggest you try and find it. It's called The FLintstones On The Rocks

  • @LegolasManowarMJ I know all that, but I could find it would I tried a few weeks ago. It is supposedly rare. I even tried buying it, but found no one selling it.

  • @rchan09 Have you tried Demonoid ?

  • @rchan09 It's up on You Tube from someone called "jiggerfool". The link to part 1 of 5 should be over on the right. I used Real Player to rip it in case Warner finds out and makes them yank it down.

  • @LegolasManowarMJ It's mature, but the first few seasons, especially before the kids came along, were also mature. People often forget that The Flintstones were originally an adult-oriented animated sit-com.

  • @jtkirkfan2002 True.
