  • great vid!

  • I got mine on eBay FYI and great video! This really helped I'm doing my s2000 tomorrow thanks man!!

  • and im wanting to install those on my lowered 87 accord, its a hatchback btw

  • can you please tell me which wholesale distributor you bought it from??

  • invest in a tripod!

  • its much easier to remove cotter pin, loosen castle nut, smack top of knuckle hard with hammer till ball joint frees up, remove castle nut... now remove upper control arm, find big socket that fits over the top of ball joint (like shown with metal tube) next turn control arm upside down on the ground or work bench, last, hit threaded end of ball joint hard, it will fall right out with one or two good hits...

  • bunch of hella flush fanboys dont even know what you're talking about. no shit no ones wants positive camber, you want zero degrees of camber, maybe -0.5 degrees. theres no point in having a camber kit if you want negative camber because lowering the cars ride height gives you a ton of negative camber anyways. a camber kit is to restore camber back to factory specs.

    /rant

  • needs more chamber for hella low :))

  • Now, it would have been easier to take the upper control arm off of the car and pressed the ball joint out on a vise instead of coming up with the pipe extention thing. Work smart not hard.

  • how much did you pay for those ball joints

  • @player2516 I think it was around $80. I bought them from a wholesale distributor. They would be a lot more online.

  • you were so tired of making the video you didnt even thank me for watching..how lame

  • I want negative camber hellaflush negative camber fuk positive camber that shits gay haha

  • @Gardozilla i want moarr !!! Camber !!!

  • Will be automobile explode as a result of this?

  • " you have some Sensitive gears in here " ... ur crazy

  • @chefigo what did your megin racing stuff cost you

  • @trunkbreak3r It cost $958. That was for the front and back.

  • It's Called a Pickle Fork, usually the Term for the Ball joint separate tool.

Ask more if needed bud :P

  • lol "adjust back for negitive camber witch im sure you dont want"

i want hella negative camber :)

    (Y)

  • Thanks for the video. I am heading down to the garage to do mine. Very helpful to see it before doing it.

  • nice video thanksfor sharing your isights and experience from your work.

    -Biww

  • you could just buy the camber kit that includes the upper control arms and skip all of this extra work as all you do is switch out the upper control arms and your done.

  • 1 cuestion, does the uper arm hits de body ?

  • @paddetail Nope. There is just enough clearance. I also have adjustable coilover shocks so I can adjust the height of my car. You will need to play around to find out how low your car can go yet still be functional.

  • Wowww..It's cool video!!

    superb man..

  • awsome attention to detail.. thanks for that! :)

  • Very helpful video... Thx man. Add'l tip: if ur doing it on a 92-95 Civic after you take off the rubber boot, the is a circle clip at the underside top you want to remove first (this clip is what keeps the ball joint from pushing out thru the top). This will make it alot easier, u may not even need C-clamp cuz it will come out. After you remove it, u "may" need to sand or shave the inner circle opening "a little" like 0.4 mil so that it doesn't bend anything while Camberkit going in but stil

  • cool video, do u know if camber kits for different car's lets say toyota's or nissan's are the same as this, do most camber kitz go on the upper control arm?? it looks simple to install, good video!

  • @MrLIFEISTOOSHORT I am not too sure. I think so.

  • nice vid man. so hows the camber kit holding up now?

  • @DelSolRacer93 It is doing great! No more inner tire wear!

  • wow.. im just gonna have the shop do it. yeah i know, -10 cool points for me.

  • Hey on the rotors did you have 4 bolts holding it in? An if so did you take them out? Cause on my car I have them and they machined my new rims to fit in the extra grooves and I need my tires rotated and don't wanna pay again to have them cut

  • @MrBane60 Yep, just four bolts, kept them in.

  • where u get the camber kit?

  • @MrChristurmental I got it from a direct buyer, the same place BigO Tires gets them from. I just asked them where the warehouse was that they get them from and then I went there. Instead of buying them for $115 from BigO I went direct.

  • WAAAAAAAAAAY different from the Civic lol

  • My friends last Camber kit for his rear right wheel didnt come in the mail on time... He looked like a fucking idiot driving with one non Camber tire LOL!!!

  • easy to take a arm off car to do that......only 2 nuts!

  • how to adjust camber on 1992 240 volvo

  • n00b.

  • @sweetlikeADAM i may be 15 and i may not own a car... but i do work on cars with my sister... yes my sister. and i did the same thing this guy did... i just finished working on a type-r dc2 honda integera and its cambers are insane anyway imma put up a video on how i did the cambers... were was i ohh ya why dont you put a video up on how to put cambers up the right way since ur the master at it cuz ur calling this diy mechanic a n00b i wanna watch the vid

  • is there a torque specification for tightening that??

  • @Faqurkowch 120ft/lbs

  • "here on the other side of this car, cause im tired of making this video..."

    lol

  • andy, what brand rotors thou? where did u get them?

  • non-concave = Convex. lol thank me later buddy.

  • i saw u had drilled/slotted rotors. my question is, where they the same size(diameter) as stock? and what brand

  • @slickrc i would assume its the same diameter, because your brake caliper needs to fit back on.

  • they are just the stock rotors. I used my friends tools to drill and slot them.

  • Great vid, thanks for the information, i was looking the camber kits and wondering where the heck they went, haha...

for future reference opposite of concave is convex =)

  • LOL...thanks!

  • outstanding video. thanks man!

  • where can i get this kit

  • @hondatypetheend google

  • I asked Big-O Tires where they get the kit. They directed me to their wholesaler. I was able to get the kit 50% cheaper from the lowest priced kits on the internet.

  • i have a question i got my camber kit on and adjusted to the proper positive camber if my car steering wheel pulls to the right should i consider a alighnment

  • @TheIsaac09 always get an alignment when you do any suspension altering

  • really informative vid it help get my spc camber kit on my 92 da
