I remember when I first saw this commercial in 1993.I had only known about street fighter and I thought it couldnt get any awesome than that.Then comes this game and it looked pretty good.Later I realized it was simply amazing,b/c every parent in the U.S at the time didnt want their kids to have it.Thats when you know its gonna be the stuff of legends.lol

There was like 30 total minutes of actual filming I was involved in. You can make out part of my sleeve in this commercial.
I remember my mom took me to the mall on like the Saturday or Sunday before "Mortal Monday" so that I could pick up my copy for the Sega Genesis. I thought it was so cool to play it before it was actually out...
mortal kombat nothing but shit? I admit mk vs dc was a huge let down for the mk fans but I'm sure the next on they make and if they make one will be good.
@dgarcia626 I give you a thumbs up for liking the game in your on opinion, But I goota admit, MK vs. DC was kinda weird to play. It was mostly a bad idea. How can Superman die from Sub-Zero?
@RoyalHustler09 ,i was psyched when i heard about this game. while there both fantasy characters so its not much of a stretch for me to believe that sub zero can rip out his spine, i mean the story put that he was weak against magic thats all they had to say to convince me. same w other cross overs. like mvc2 or one, how can anyone defeat the hulk? i know for sure in the universe of capcom no street fighter can but its all in the interest of fun so i never mind on how shit happens its a game.
Oh cool, so that "MORTAL KOMBAT!" scream in the theme is from the commercials for the original game? Did not know that.

Used to play this with my father inlaw back in the day when this came out.
Married his daughter few years later and she let me have an arcade cab. Still playing this with her father!!!! Great game!!!
