Personally, I just fullscreen the emulator and use Fraps, but considering how draining that can be on one's resources and how huge the file sizes are, I'm not surprised you don't use that. I never like the recording software on most emulators, it's never as clean as I like them to be.

i record mine with the racord AVI then sound record with the "Sound Recorder" program already i nstalled on the computer. Put them both into Movie Maker and the sound is always off. I'll die then about 5 seconds later you hear e gonig "Damn i died" it starts off in sync but goes out. it's weird. I start audio and video at the same time. I have to end video first, then audio (cant do both at same time) so maybe that 2 seconds is affecting it IDK

Quicktime screen recording has got to be the best thing ever for mac. You can record the whole screen or just part of it, and have sound recorded in the same recording, so no de-sync! It records in great quality and saves in a good format. I use it to record my plants vs zombies videos, if you want an example. I can't recommend it enough!

Basically what's happening to me is during recording (I use the same method as NCS does with SNES9x except I use Audacity) everything is going great. When I toss it all into windows movie maker the audio and video does not sync at all. If anyone knows how to fix this please inbox me.

@TheBreakingDM Record video and audio separately, then try to sync them when you edit the video. For instance, when you do your syncing, say something at the same time you do an action in the game. Like jumping, hitting, crouching.

I use pinnacle studio to record videos but I don't like having to record my voiceovers after the gameplay because it makes me sound totally boring. I want to know if there is a way I can record my voiceovers at the same time. Is there a downloadable app that can record my voice alone while pinnacle studio is recording the game?

@gokubalance1 hey im not sure if you still need this or not for recording voice, but the way i record my voice is using the program audacity. its a free program you can download and use it right away its really simple you only have to export the sound files as a .wav when your done recording because other programs cant open audacity files. And as for actually recording you can get a microphone off ebay for like $10. i would recommend getting a headset micsince its alot easier to use

@sccpa5g well you have to get a normal, japanese mother 3 rom. then, you should go to starmen.net and on the side it will say "Mother 3 Fan Translation download". click that, follow the instructions, and you'll have Mother 3 in English!

If I may, one other thing that I'd recommend would be to enter "net stop Uxsms" in a command prompt before recording; this will turn off the Desktop Composition feature in Windows and allow the graphics card to allocate more of its resources elsewhere. You can start it back up by typing "net start Uxsms".

I use Visual Boy Advanced for my GBA games and record from it using the "Start AVI Recording". It works well in the beginning (audio and video are good) but then later on i noticed that the audio's timing is off and then when it nears the end, the audio is like 2+ secs off. Is there a way to fix that?

@ninjasaursrock well, here's somit idk if it'll work, but it might. take one of those cords from a video camera that has a headphone jack on ne end and AV jacks n the other. plug in the AV into a Dazzle DVC (at least, that's what I use) and the headphne jack int the DS.

I was wondering if you answer a question, When I use RecordPad for my videos I use fraps as a Recording Device, When I record and pull the fraps file into Windows Movie Maker The audio from the fraps file has both the game music and my Commentary in the same slot, Do you know how to fix it? Even if I don't have any speakers plugged in and the headphone set for the Mic It still happens. For Record Pad I have Default Sound In, and have it to Windows Record Mixer.
