The first episode I saw of Doctor Who was the first one with Matt Smith, and I thought he was brilliant. And I still do, but after that I've watched everything with David Tennant. He was so good, I think that he was better then the ninth ever was, or that the eleventh ever is gonna be.

@DWfannie I think they're all great in their own ways. David's performance seemed the most human. I thought I was sad when Nine died, but "The End of Time" was brutal. That special wrecked me. My boyfriend was in another room and came over to console me when he heard me blubbering like a baby. Greatest TV show ever.

but will still carry on watching Matt Smith, just hope he will be given a fair chance as he knows himself he has got some big boots to fill.

Sylvester McCoy was my Doctor since 1987 (when I was finally old enough to understand it all as I had been watching it since the age of 3 or 4 when Tom Baker was the Doctor), now that accolade belongs to the amazing David Tennant

i cried so much on xmas day watching the lovely david regenarate, my son and my partner were laffin at me, i was totally gutted, still am. Then i watched the end of time again the other night on bbc3 and i balled for an hour. David tennant is irriplacable as the Doctor. i remember getting upset as a child watching the regenaration from Tom Baker to Peter Davidson but our David really had me in tears, i felt like giving him a squeeze and taking care of him... yum yum lol.. HE' THE BEST..

Loved Doctor Who and David Tennent is my favourite actor, sad to see him go and will miss the excitement and energy he brought to the character.Hopefully Matt Smith will be as good as he was and still bring a new style to the doctor:)
