i gotta say, i wasn't too impressed with ARMA 2's squad control mechanics. Very limited. And wtf is up with the ballistics of the weapons?you have to aim like an inch above someone to hit them from 100 meters away with an M4, IRL, you wouldn't have to do that...

@Dominik520520 Depends, i have ARMA 2 Combined Ops and Dragon Rising, in terms of atmosphere and "fun" factor, i'd give it to Dragon Rising, it constantly keeps you involved, whereas in ARMA 2, theres relatively large gaps of time which you don't really do anything.

Which makes it clear that ArmA 2 is the more realistic game, in reality youre not constantly fighting enormous amounts of enemys with your M16 without even taking a shot. Also, the atmosphere in ArmA 2 is also bigger than in dragon rising i think, its not so overblurred and shiny and also, the story may be shit (It IS shit) but the game itself is still well, better overall than dragon failing :).

Ok I'm torn on this game. I downloaded the demo yesterday and played it for a few hours. Yes it is a pretty game, and it is very realistic looking but im still not sure yet what i think of it. I am able to run it at full specs just fine, but it still runs a little clunky, its just not as refined or smooth as alot of fps's these days. Sometimes your AI buddies are stupid as hell and wont come heal you even when standing right next to you.. The voice acting is the WORST ive EVEr heard in a game.

I would go higher than 4850 from personal experience. I am running 5gigs 800mhz, Q6600 Oc'd to 3.0, and 4850 512mb, and I barely run it at max WITHOUT AA. It becomes unplayable when I turn any of the AA levels on, To the point where I can still move around, but aiming just wont work.

Yes you're right. The first game was Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis released in 2k1, which was followed by OFP: Resistance (2k2) and the XboX clone OFP:Elite (2k5).
