JD Power has no relevance. Initial quality is only about 20 percent meaningful. They don't have a test where they take the car apart and evaluate the components. They measure consistency, not quality. It's like asking someone who has had brain surgery how good the doctor was. If he couldn't fix the problem maybe the problem was too extensive to be fixed. Does that make him a bad doctor? According to JD; yes.

Defiantly, I mean why would someone pay a higher price for something slower, but then again its the buyers choice, maybe he thinks the CTS-V is ugly or the M5 is ugly, and interior quality, and comfortability. I think the M5 has more technology in the car than the CTS-V does, making it more of a car that you get to know. Thats one of the major reasons I like the M5. I mean listen to that V10 scream at 8000RPM, V8 isn't bad either. E55 AMG V8 is faster than M5.
