@1legomaster You can't "take all the venom out" This scorp is harmless. It's toxicity can be compared to that of a bee. Scorpions with huge claws and thin tails are not as venomous as scorps with thick tails and tiny pinchers

Scorpions need their stinger to survive because thats how they kill their prey. Without it they wouldnt get prey therefore killing it

what the hell is with people wanting to cut the stinger off. If you are that scared of your scorpion then sell it or give it to someone that is comfortable with it.

Appears to be the same as a Desert Hairy scorpion. They can be fairly aggressive at times too.

@crzyFa5t Generally most of the scorpion you buy from the local pet store are wild caught adult. So it might live anywhere from 2-3 years in captivity. Buy your scorpion from a respectable online site. If you get a young emperor scorpling, it will provide you with years (5-6 years) of companionship.

Thats an asian desert scorpian isn't it? They're pretty viscious. I used to own one but unfortunatly she died. Old age, She grew huge. You also shouldn't expose them to pure UV light for too long, yes they glow, but they're actually "allergic" to it, and can develop a disease, much like humans do like cancer.

@captainhiroshi I don't really understand your question, but I don't know of any who has ever died from one of their pet scorpions.  I have never been stung or bitten by any of my scorpions or tarantulas personally though

@Zanmatt2g Yes you may use a scissor to do so...but one time I did that to a scorpion and he died later that day.

They have feelings as well...It's if another person was to cut one of our arms...we might die you know!

But just cut the real tip or it just a little so the sting won't be pointy enough to hurt anyone.
