What's the deal with only bowling on one lane instead of a pair of lanes? If you lose that lane you're done where if you had a pair like normal events it is not as bad if you lose the shot on a lane but still have a good lane left. That way looks a lot tougher. Are the finals that way as well on one lane or on a pair of lanes?

left lane was short oil, right lane was long oil. best of 3, finals were the same. the higher seed got to pick the starting lane.
