watching this video for sum reason makes me feel calm relaxed and all funny he seems like such nice and humble man wish i could of met him :( maybe in the next life :)
I'm only 16 and i have GREAT respect for Tiny!!! He genuinely makes me.happy, and watching videos of him and listening to his songs make my day so much better! I only wish I was able to meet him.
He was such a kind, gentle, handsome, and honest man. I hope that I will be able to meer him in heaven some day. R.I.P.
I watch this video just to cheer up. He was such a very nice guy and very kind. screw you Howard Stern, REST IN PEACE Herbert Buckingham Khaury aka Tiny Tim.
I laughed along with America when he first appeared in '68,but I came to realize he was a genuine, sincere, honest, nice human being. His fleeting fame was a double-edged sword.....he could not take a 'normal' job to support himself after becoming widely known, and he persevered with his act to support himself till the end.
Whats so strange about a famous musician shopping for shirts at a JC Penny? I would have been thrilled to meets him even though ive just recently gotten into tiny tim
My father used to own a photo studio and he had the luck of having Tiny Tim come in to do a photo shoot. We still have a portrait sized photo of the him and it is really something.
No offense, cut you show up at JCPenney's with that get-up on, "Tiny Tim" on the front; "Tip Toe Through the Tulips" on the back; carrying a ueckele in a paper bag to buy flannel shirts? This guy had to live in poverty. He claimed on the Howard Stern show that he frequented the strip clubs in Winnepeg, Canada, whenever he had the money.
Nothing like wearing your stage coat to let everyone know it is you Tiny, Of course he could be naked and people would know who he was. This is the real Tiny and what he was like off stage. He was always interesting to be with and talk to.
One of my favorite Youtube videos. I'm glad I am not a famous singer or personality. I wouldn't want someone to post a video of me shopping, on Youtube. The two old women at 2'45" were horny and had the hots for TT. He was an expert on fashion, and I wish I could have gone clothes shopping and food shopping with him.
Who are all these people saying they're not big fans, what would I give to be there on that day to meet him. I would love to meet him but he died before I got into him.
People's attitudes is what bothers me about this. He seems like he was such a nice and polite person, and yet, everyone is walking around laughing at him.
I'd loved to have met him, too. He was so incredibly talented with a wide vocal range and ability to mimic other singers.
P.S. He's right about those shirts. My Dad has worn one the same one for 20 years and just now worn it out.
Unfortunately I know what it's like to be nice and polite and be laughed at and considered creepy. I'm a musician myself but a lot of people don't really understand me. I don't mean that in the emo sense but I mean I'm a little eccentric and it turns some people off.
No one is laughing at Tiny in the store, hey are being prommed to giggle because they are asked about "who's that guy is in the long hair?" They all feel uneasy. "What's he doing in here they ask." Tiny can go shopping if he wants too, what is wrong with that ? Tiny is used to people stareing at him all his life, no big deal with that. He expects it.
@fustymusty I didnt see anyone laughing at him. People, mainly females, were politely asking for his autograph. What's wrong people's attitude here? He got better service from the sales assistants than I ever get.
@fustymusty No one was laughing at him, its the fact theres a well known figure in an everyday clothes shop.. I'd be the same if I seen someone like Boy George or Keith Flint, yeah they have different styles but it'd be like "Wow! Keith Flint and Boy George!?
