  • Im trying to play this song on guitar (car selecting)

  • My Accolade guy sounded better than your Accolade guy =P

  • they spelled ferrari wrong lol, but back then everything was home made and not big business yet....today gaming companies are billion dollar companies some of them atleast

  • If you want a laugh, search for "Test Drive PC" and listen to the "music" on it. ;)

  • lotus the best and sexy car yummy yum yum

  • Brings back great memories.

  • I love this game.. It learned me how to drive lol..

  • did you get the driving licence? :D

  • Someone needs to do a progressive rock version of the music from 1:50 onwards. What a killer of a tune that is!!!!

  • The intro tune is pretty much the bass line of the Beatles "Drive My Car"

  • Dude do you have Grand Prix. The music on that game was outstanding. I cant figure out how to convert these SID files to mp3.

  • huh i remember this game on my c64 loool just 1 hour loading wait to play a fucking game hahahah who knows where it is? i think i buried it somewhere in the house but i never found it again, of course if i find it and try to plug it on maybe lose my temper and getting pissed of waiting to play or maybe it doesn't show on the screen, but those were the days of the 80's when everyone gathering and playing this long fuck waiting game

  • I used to play it on my Dad's C64 all the time. I still hum this tune too.

  • Just love that music at 1.54. AWESOME!

  • im with you

  • Would you believe it, I drive around listening to it in my car.

  • AGREE!!! Better quality on Amiga tho :D

  • I had this game. And it was on tape, not disk. :D Later when I got my Amiga 500 I was so surprised over the improvements in graphics and loading times. But the C64 version will always be in my heart.

  • mann das waren noch Zeiten...:D

  • wow, that's got some funky bass!

  • ffs i had this game

  • Great stuff!

  • what is this year ???

  • I think it was 1987.

  • Amiga version was 1986. C64 may have been 87 or 88 even ...

  • grandpa of NFS :)

  • i lol'd

  • This was a good game, even though it did have some bugs on the C64.

By the way, and this isn't a slam against you, but is there any way you can make a video of this intro being done in NTSC mode as opposed to PAL? The PAL emulation slows the music down and it doesn't sound as good as what it's supposed to.
