@lio007ful Use a BitTorrent downloader and download the xpadder 5.7 version thats compatable with windows7 then follow the setup thats in this video you just watched. You should find that everything will work from there. Just a a fore note, im using a third party xbox controller which the program works pretty damn well for be it pc games or emulation programs. Hope this helps with the problem your having.

Ok all you people not able to use xpadder while CA is open, idk what to tell you.

I quit playing awhile back, because i was bored. I even decided to update the game just now, and it still works with my v5.7. So i decided to DL v5.3 and try it, again it still works.

Just make ABSOLUTELY sure you have xpadder set to run as admin and after you check it you clicked OK(even if you think you did, check again). Also after you install/set up xpadder, try restarting your computer. Then try again.

It actually has to be a wired usb controller. I dont think a wireless controller will work. Using a bluetooth wireless controller on a computer with bluetooth "may" work, but i would just suggest using a wired usb one.

Also would like to add:

i changed my sensitivity since this video. Use X=115/Y=65 under the mouse settings in xpadder. Seems to work better for me. I leave the ingame sensitivity at 10.

Also melee only matches are crazy, i can get like 99% headshots with a controller, i get called a hacker all the time.

For windows vista or windows 7 YOU MUST run it as admin. i said that in the video, if you dont it wont work in any game or program.

Make sure you clicked ok after checking the run as admin box. (right click xpadder.exe > properties > compatibility tab)

Im using v5.7, but i also went and downloaded the free v5.3, and it still worked for me for combat arms just fine.

Ya the paste button is only there in v5.7, the free v5.3 it doesnt have that. And i also have tried downloading the pic and then opening that file but it always says its the wrong format. So i dont know exactly, the paste button was the only way it worked for me. But like i said the pic is just for looks, doesnt impact using the controller at all.
