I agree that there is always more bad music than good music in any era. But there is far more bad music today simply because of the internet and the ease of self production. You have to know what WAS good before you can have any idea what IS good. Bill Withers is classic and his backing band is amazing. You can still be hip to new music and enjoy the classics.
