everything is good when its old because it was once new to you, but rs went from 500k players to barely 90k. So Runescape has failed and they are after money. Jagex doesn't have to update the game every month or somthing. If one update was bad why go on?

Yep, the game became too much of a grind without any reward. I felt that with each update the game became less enjoyable and just more of a grind, especially when everyone I was close to on the game had quit by that point.

Just like you, im out of rs. My reason is the same as yours. I don't think rs2006 will go far because the 2012 players will find it out and give it a try. Then they will ruin it.

rs2006 wont be as the "real" rs used to be. Loads of fags will be there, loads of sht pk etc... Cause community wont be good at all cause there will still be a sht pk community cause it will get so many shoutouts loads of people from 2k11+ will come to rs2006. But thats just my opinion.

Runescape was always pointless, you get your 99 goal...then what?...nothing, I was a 2005 - 2008 Rs player but that was when people were friendly, when you saw 1 out of 6000 people with bandos unlike now, skilling with bots and zombies( people who slave over the computer clicking without a purpose just to get a virtual achievment done ). Bottomline is that Rs isn't fun (especially skilling) and those ppl who get on 3rd party chats to talk while pking aren't 'pros'. Rs doesn't take skill to play.

i quit for 5 months and came back. but now that im back i realize the games still shit and im already canceling my subscription. im like you, the main page /graphic updates ruined the game for me. reminds me of some imature 12 year old game with all the stupid graphics on main page. just the gay characters they have on there annoys me.
