@xhelicopter if you would rate the mcp x v2 against the walkera mini cp in a 1-10. I already have the mcpx v2 but would just like to know if this is any better.

@iseldoff Checked with Tony and he hasn't flown the mcp v2 yet but he said that between the mcp v1 and the Walkera mini cp out of the box the Walkera flies better. It handles better and has more power. If it matters he gives the Walkera a 9 out of 10.

Can you bind to a spektrum radio?

@pcmcg Sorry Walkera receivers will only bind with their own transmitters. So Spektrum transmitters will not bind with the receiver.

Does this have a beginner mode like the genius cp? I am upgrading myself to a collective type of heli. It is a shame that the tail rotor is not driven by the main motor like the bigger helis.

Is the mini CP just as durable or more durable than the genius or mcpx?

@alter3go It's about the same as the others. All crashes are different and have different outcomes. I once has a very bad crash with the genius and it was fine and other times I would just slightly nick something and bend the featuring shaft. I find the MCPX featuring shaft to bend the easiest. For some reason when I crash or nick something the shaft is usually the first thing to go. It gets pretty annoying having to buy new shafts after every hit, but it's all part of the hobby :D

@wesajarjar You just need to watch the website closely... The E razor is pretty popular so parts go quick. Just make sure you check once a day or week.

Yeah, sure you can read the temp and the other stuff while you are flying. But how often can you glance down at the transmitter. But i think that it is cool that you showed when the heli didn't bind. Most big heli companies would cut that out.

@nintendogod12 That's what the alarm is for. You set the alarm to ring at 3.8v or whatever you set at. Same with temp.

@MJHN1998 Technically no they can'y but if you flip the main blades and reverse the motor your 4ch heli will fly inverted. But there's a catch lol You can't take off and land normally :)

Wish you could of done a closer shot of the canopy but yes, it does look better than the other 'sample' Mini CPs I've seen on YouTube. Better colour scheme and flight characteristics. While I won't get rid of my two Genius CPs, I'd Definitely like a Walkera Mini CP added to my Walkera Fleet. Possible indoor 3D test?

HELI:

1: AIL

2: ELE

3: THRO

4: RUDD

5: GYRO GAIN

6: AUX ch, (for the pitch servo on heli)

On a plane, the CH5 is gear, most of the time, and CH6 can be something else, like flaps...

@theradmonkey Depending on what brand TX you fly. Channel 4 will always be rudder, Ch5 is gear, and Ch6 is AUX or pitch for helicopters. Ch1-3 can be different so remember to look over the TX manual.
