Can you please explain to me how the talent early frost is working exactly, cause to me it looks that it reduces the cast time by 0.7 sec only to your first frostbolt and next have the normal casting time. Is it that useful in pvp?
I solo Anzu as a 2/3/31 frost Mage in nothing but PvP gear I got from honor and don't have any problems unless (unless I get hit with an RNG stun at a critical time). Tip I have for you is to invis the boss on to your water elemental after he comes out of the second banish (make sure the water elemental is attacking the boss first or Anzu will reset)

nice video. just a tip, you should be able to blink past every guard. and you can skip the first boss by running around the perimiter. at 2:20 you can keep left in that room and go around the perimiter and up the stairs.
I am able to blink past every guard, and I kill the serpent on the stairs, and the first set of non-elite birds. When you get to the room right before anzu, you can invis to get past the second set of birds and into anzu's room
Confirmed easy kill as frost, but bear in mind good ICC gear and 28K hp.
I chose not to be stealthy and bull myself through the mobs, keep ice barrier up, using (pet) freeze and just nuke the pulls. Skipped nothing up to him.
Anzu isn't too hard either, similar to the discription (I didn't read it until after kill lol) nuke beginning, aoe birds, mirror image after first banish, nuke the rest after second banish. Should not need too many tricks if your geared up.
By doing this you dump all agro on to your pet and you can safely and easy dps the shit out of him from range and you shouldn't have any issues killing him at all.

I just came back to the game after a year of not playing. I did mass BG's and got full wrathful (what you can get w/o any arena rating) and was still having problems killing him after he came out of the immune state for the last time. Like MasterOfAudioSurf he would have roughly 75k health left when that phase started and I couldn't manage to kill him. What I did to correct this was repopped water elemental (since you used cold snap) and invised as soon as I killed the last group of birds.

I did this nuking as arcane mage. It takes some brains and an ounce of tactics, but it is doable -- just more difficult.
